The staff here are awesome. Quick to help, always have positive outlook. Activity department has lots of activities, a couple of times we participated, and I wasn’t disappointed. If you miss an activity, you can ask them and they’ll come at your Room. The only thing that disappointed me was the food. My husband had to buy food from outside so I could eat.

I can't say enough about this facility. They treated my 102 year old mother with such compassion and dignity. Everyone from administration, nursing, nutrition, activities, and therapy were exceptional. The therapists were incredible and were instrumental in getting her back to her independent daily life. Thank you to the whole staff at Paradise Valley Manor.

My uncle is staying in Paradise Valley Manor and Health Care Center for six weeks, and then he's going home. It's a good experience. They are slow to respond to my phone calls. They are supposed to respond within twenty-four hours, but sometimes they don't respond at all -- maybe forty-eight hours -- but my uncle likes it there. He likes the care, so I can't complain. He likes the food, and he likes that they took him out walking twice a day.

I liked Paradise Valley Manor a lot. It was nice, but their surroundings was old. The building was built in 1969, and that was the only drawback. Everybody was extremely friendly. The dining area was OK. It just needs to be updated.

My aunt is in Paradise Valley Manor. She's enjoying the food, and she participates in the activities. They have an enthusiastic staff and they do a lot of fun things with the residents there. The place is clean. Everybody is helpful and friendly. They pay attention to all the residents. I'm really happy to have her there. I feel like she's in a safe place. They play bingo, they have live music, they do memory games, they have a TV in the activity room, they get manicures, there's a lady that does their hair, and they do crafts. It's an older building, but it's well maintained. I'm really impressed with the different things that they do. Most of the residents seem to be having a nice time. I see her smiling a lot when she's there.

They were very nice at Paradise Valley Manor. We had a couple of nurses that really helped my mom, but she didn’t like the food and a lot of the people there were complaining about it. Otherwise, the place was great. The rooms were of a pretty big size, and the staff was very friendly and very helpful. If the patient wanted to go and do things, they could. If not, they didn’t have to; they didn’t make them go. My mom would go to "hair cut day," where they’d give them haircuts, or play bingo and memory games.

It was a difficult time last year for our family - my dad who had been in and out of the hospital due to infection on his foot which later unfortunately deteriorated and had to be amputated (since he was also diabetic). The Paradise Valley Manor practically became our second home. The place was always neat, the room where my father stayed was always well kept. The head admin and staff were all nice. Most of the nurses and aids were Filipinos, as a fellow Filipino we really felt the warmth and care here. The nurses were focused on the patient's recovery. My only concern here was that their resident doctor at one time made incorrect findings and was slow in identifying the problem with my dad when he caught fever. We checked him out and went back to the hospital to realize the fever was caused by something else. Nevertheless since our family was always with our my father we went back to Paradise for his therapy and recovery, My father's almost three months stay here was generally really nice - our family made good lasting friendships here. Our family has experienced the challenges of having one of our very loved one suffered with medical issues, a good place where you will be sure other people will give the same set of care you yourself will give is very important. Paradise Valley Manor can give you this assurance.

I would recommend Paradise Valley to anyone! They have the best staff! My mom has been in and out of facilities but she will never go anywhere else other than paradise! Everyone was so loving and patient with her and she is home and thriving! The place was beautiful and the therapy gym was brand new and had great equipment! My mom still asks about the staff. They really care!

Paradise Valley Manor is also a hospital, it's everything. The rooms are more than average. Their appearance is a little bit larger than the average facility. As far as I could see, the staff was very nice. They have a full range of activities and programs for people. It's a very nice place.

My friend is looking for a place for he and his wife to live, so we went to take a look at Paradise Valley Manor in National City, while were there checking out places for he and his wife to live. The interior design was lovely with nice views throughout. Because the weather is so mild there, the residents may enjoy walks along the grounds and spend time outdoors on a year round basis. The staff often takes residents on many outings into National City's vibrant community to enjoy all that it has to offer. The dining areas offered the kind of spectacular food that you would find in a high-end cafe. The meals we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus included food options for all kinds of diets. Seniors are encouraged to enjoy physical activity as much as possible. The staff appeared to accommodate all levels of ambulation. The residents enjoy yoga and aerobics classes, sometimes held outdoors Private units featured beautiful decorations in nice surroundings, many with widespread views. All had a great deal of natural light and fresh air, through large windows. The residents may enjoy all that National City has to offer, from local eateries, films, and the library to festivals and fairs in the region. We could really see that the residents are treated with care, kindness and respect so that they are very well cared for at all times.
