My husband is currently at Loma Clara Senior Living. I like the community they have there. There's a lot of staff out and about. The residents are engaged in activities or are together in different common areas. If there's anyone that looks even slightly agitated, the staff is right there in redirecting behavior before there's any incident at all. It's a very calm atmosphere and people seem happy and content. In terms of activities, my husband has severe dementia and severe mobility problems, so there isn't much that they can do. For the other patients though, they have physical therapy available, they play bingo games, they do coloring, and they do sorting activities. My husband likes being there with them, he watches and he listens to their conversation, and occasionally he contributes a word or two. The staff is always saying, 'Hi, how are you doing?' so he feels involved. I'm with my husband at lunch to help feed him. There's a lot of variety in food. They have a sophisticated look to them, and their desserts are quite well done and interesting. I haven't personally eaten lunch there, but feeding my husband, he seems to like the food quite a bit. The staff that interacts with the residents have been excellent. They're keeping the residents as engaged as they are able being a memory care facility.

We toured Loma Clara Senior Living. I feel like it was an older facility. We were looking for a two-bedroom apartment, and they only had four two-bedroom apartments in the whole complex. They said they don't come available very often, and the apartment was a lot smaller than I toured. The one-bedroom did not really have a kitchen. The staff was fine.

Our tour at Loma Clara Senior Living went well. It seemed to have good options as far as activities, and there seemed to be a fairly lively community there. The staff was professional and informational. I think the place was pretty clean. I didn't see any downside as far as that was concerned. The building was pretty new, and it was a good facility overall.

I visited Loma Clara Senior Living, it's beautiful and expensive. The overall tour was wonderful, it's a great place. The staff is fine, they're very helpful and very nice. The rooms were lovely, I saw the menu but we didn't eat. They had a theater, a gym, dining, and activities rooms, and an outdoor porch for outdoor activities. As an outsider looking in, the living atmosphere seems very pleasant. It's a very pretty and newer facility, it's only four years old.

We're moving Dad into Loma Clara Senior Living. It was fantastic. We met some people that my father knew in the dining room. The sales rep toured us all over the facility. My dad was very excited because he loves riding a stationary bicycle and they have a beautiful covered patio where he can sit and enjoy the day. We had a fantastic meal. Stephanie, the server, fed us well and we had a great time, and dad said, "I want to stay here" and that was the end of it. They have representatives in the healthcare area and they have a physical therapist that comes in twice a week and works with them. They have a crafts section where you can do all kinds of crafts. They have games and just a myriad of things.

Loma Clara Senior Living was clean and was full of hospitality. I was acknowledged when I came through the front door. The person I was there to meet gave me an escort of the place and reviewed all of the plans that they offer, where the people eat, and showed us the rooms. It was really cute. Two ladies were part of the hospitality team. Some residents were part of it, too, and they were hoping that my mom was going to come so that they could meet her. I thought that was really good and nice. I liked the place. They have internet access and they could provide her food so she would not have to pay out of her pocket. She can have things that she wants in her place. There was a little kitchenette there.

I toured Loma Clara Senior Living. It was nice. However, when I saw the room, I thought my mom would never go for this, and there's no way she could afford it without us getting assistance. It was out of our range especially for sharing a room that had no shower, no kitchenette ,or anything in it. One bedroom had a door, and the other one was just a wall, so when the other person walked in, and if you were in bed or something, there was no privacy. I just know from where my mom came from at the other facility, I thought that she was not going to like this, and I can't see her paying that much. The lady who toured me was extremely knowledgeable. She was a great salesperson. It was a very nice facility. I only saw the upstairs; I didn't spend a lot of time there. I knew it was out of our price range. She only showed me two rooms, and they were both the same. It was very clean. People were friendly enough. From what I saw and who I met, the people at the front desk and the lady who took me around were very friendly. It's very orderly. There is an organization there that is what my mom is missing. It's more structured, so that is important. It was very organized.

My husband moved into Loma Clara Senior Living. They are very much geared for Alzheimer's and Dementia. It's wonderful. It's constant training, and my husband felt right at home. He was very pleased. They helped us move him in there. They are wonderful people and so caring. It's a very nice place. He has a wonderful room. It's a shared room, and he has the larger part. It has a refrigerator. They will share a bathroom eventually, but there is no one in the other room right now. They have a lot of activities, like exercising, playing ball, and moving. The people don't sit in their bedrooms. They go out and mingle. Everyone talks to each other. It's very friendly. They had a support group for me, and it was wonderful. There were quite a few people there. They have an outdoor courtyard that's pretty big and nice. They have a garden. It's very pretty out there. They are more than I was paying for than the last place, and it's going to keep going up the worse he gets.

I went to the Loma Clara Senior Living. The staff was extremely professional. The building was very nice. It was a fairly new building. The rooms were nice in the memory care and were very large with a kitchen. The grounds were very pretty. The staff was cordial and very friendly. The assisted living had a beautiful dining room, and it was open to family. They had very high standards; there's no doubt about it. We went during a promotional thing, so the tour wasn't exactly the same. They do have a person on staff in memory care that is extremely educated on Alzheimer's and dementia. They present their care in a booklet that has been written by her. She spent quite a bit of time going through that with us. They weren't able to accommodate my mom. It was very clean and very new.

My dad moved to the memory care of Loma Clara Senior Living. It's a nice looking building and dad appreciated the way it looked. It's a smaller community. The people we met are very friendly, and we like their good attitude. The staff is very nice and friendly as well, and the diversity of the staff is good. I think they're trying to get him out and about; they're very encouraging in getting the patients out and about and doing things. The senior living side has a barber shop and a little garden in the outside area. The memory care also has an outside area, and it's smaller. The senior side has a menu that has a choice, but the memory care side doesn't necessarily have a choice. They do it like a hot meal with cold salad and protein. From what I've seen, the food looks good, and they come by with snacks. It looks healthy, good, and nutritious from what I've seen. They've been really good. The staff has been excellent.
