Also unlike the agency we have now, it was not that easy to terminate Home Instead's service with us; we had to give them a month's notice. Sometimes you don't have that. Right now, I'm extremely happy with them. My care is paid for by my long-term insurance company. I pay upfront, and then the insurance company reimburses me, so they process that very quickly. It's a two-step process, you don't have just the caregiver come, but you work with the office, so the management is very quick to respond as well. They're a little bit more expensive, but the quality of care is superior compared to the other ones that I've used."

When I was released, they were right there ready to get me safely home and offered any further assistance I might need if I wasn't feeling well. They are lovely, caring people. I found the entire event from the initial contact to them waving goodbye to me once I was safely at the door as one of the highest service provided.
