"My dad is in Pacific Hills Manor. It's fine. I just think it's a little bit too strict. They're still not allowing any visitors, and they say it's the protocol; however I just visited the place yesterday because I had a mask on, was fully vaccinated, and I had no symptoms. My dad had a front room with a window, and so we were able to see each other. They moved him out of the less restrictive area because of his quarantine period, so now I can't see him unless he comes out to the front. So you have to make an appointment to see anybody. They have a little enclosure in the front with a glass partition between the visitor and the resident. You have to make an appointment ahead of time to schedule to see anybody. This is his third time there, so I know the inside. It's fine, and it's good. I'm happy with this place. They've been very accommodating. The facility is close to home. It's only 15 minutes away. It's the best solution for me. My dad has one closet. There might be three people in one closet, so it's more like a hospital room. They have the rehabilitation area, and it is clean. I have no complaints about cleanliness or the staff. They are fine based on my interactions. The rooms are all shared rooms, either two people or three people."

"My mother was admitted to The Ridge February 8, 2015. She was transferred there to recuperate and to recover from a brain surgery that was due on a fall on her head. Also, she has wounds and ulcer on her heels that need ongoing medical care. She also requires regular physical or occupational therapy. Her P/T, Josielyn, is really helping her out to walk again. Her CNA, Anna Saenz (7a.m. to 3 p.m. shift),help with tasks of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting. The Ridge provides round-the-clock medical supervision and 24-hour staffing by licensed or registered nurses. I have met L. Bey, nurse practitioner, and she explained all the medical care that is being administered to my mother. All the R.N.s and C.N.A.s and the rest of the staffs are very accommodating, professional, and very friendly. The Ridge is "spic and span", very clean. My sister and I visit my mother everyday for at least 3 hours. "

"My father has moved into Windsor Skyline Care Center. The care is very good, and there is plenty of help throughout. Everybody helps everybody there. He likes the food; it's very good. The rooms are small: 2-bed, 2-room. Visiting hours are really flexible. Masks are to be worn when visiting the room at this time. I find it to be very clean, and they were very respectful to the residents. The staff is very good. They answer all my questions. If they don't have the answer, they tend to go find it or send me to somewhere where I can get it. I did see on a board, there was an activity thing. I saw things like bingo and a walk that was going to be done either today or tomorrow. There was movie night, and there was a meet and greet time on the calendar. I did see a place that has a library. Other than the rehab facility, I really didn't see a lot. I did see what they called a meeting place. It was like a lunchroom/activity room. My father doesn't have a problem eating the food. I think it's very good value for money."

"Katherine Healthcare has provided highly skilled nursing, rehabilitation therapy, and post-acute care services to both my 90-year-old brother and currently myself. Having much experience with larger local facilities, Katherine treats their patients with utmost dignity and respect not just a barcode on a wristband. Every staff member displays a true heart for the patients. We are more like family than patients. The facility administration runs a very tight ship often on-site weekends and holidays. The therapists utilize the gym rigorously to achieve maximum recovery as soon as possible. As a soon to be discharged patient I highly recommend Katherine Healthcare to anyone in need for their self or their loved one, weather for post-acute recovery or long-term care. Definitely a 5-star facility!!! "

"My mother is in Windsor. It is excellent and clean and has a very caring staff. It's a very good place. The meals are fine; they have three meals a day plus snacks that are customized depending on the patient's needs. They have great activities for those who want to participate, like people coming in and singing, liturgical services, and bingo. The activity room is always open for those who want it. The rooms are adequate, and come in a variety of single and shared rooms, wherein they put people of the same personality together. I'm very pleased with Windsor. "

"Our mother is a current resident of this facility & has been for the past year & a half living in long term assisted care. After being diagnosed with Alzheimers Dementia & living with my husband & I for almost 2 years prior to her coming here, my sister & I feel we understand her needs. The quality of attentive care she has received at Pacific Coast Care has been exceptional! The entire staff, doctors, nurses, cna's, housekeeping, laundry, meals, activity direcors & all of the administrators continue to provide the upmost of loving & compassionate care for her. We would strongly recommend Pacific Coast/Kindred, Nursing & Transitional Care to anyone who may need this type of care. We feel very fortunate knowing our mother is safe & being well taken care of. "My father is in a skilled nursing facility -- Mabie Southside -- and they are excellent. It is on Hazel Hawkins campus and is part of the Hazel Hawkins Hospital. The facility is very clean and very accommodating of the residents. The staff is very competent and skilled, and they are very family oriented. "

"I had the privilege of having my mother stay at the nursing care home for a two-week period, and the experience was nothing short of remarkable. The facility exuded a sense of comfort and professionalism from the moment we arrived. Kumar, an employee at the care home, stood out with his exceptional care and compassion. His kindness and attentiveness towards my mother's needs were truly heartwarming. He took the time to ensure she was comfortable and well-cared for, going above and beyond his duties. The nursing care home itself was immaculately clean and well-maintained, creating a safe and welcoming environment. The staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise, ensuring that all residents received the attention and care they deserved. I can confidently say that my mother received top-notch care during her stay, thanks in large part to Kumar and the dedicated team at the nursing care home. "I think Almaden Health & Rehab Center is a good place. I don’t really have any complaints. My mother’s complaints would probably be that a lot of the staff doesn’t speak English very well and do not understand what she’s saying. When she says that she needs something, they touch everything to see what she’s talking about. I would say that the care she is receiving is good. The community seems very clean. I don’t think you can really help the food. When you’re on a certain kind of diet, it can be boring. "

"My mother was at this facility for over seven years. She had her own apartment. When her health went bad she moved to the extended care facility. In the end she moved to the dementia area. She passed away at 96. The staff over that period were excellent and very helpful and I could not ask for better cooperation. My wife says the Meadows is where we are going as we age significantly."

"We visited The Terraces of Los Gatos, and it was an excellent place. The staff members were very friendly. The residents were very friendly. The facility was top of the line. My only concern about this place is that it has a different financial structure that requires a large buy-in. That is perfectly fine, but won't be appropriate for our people. The layout seems very good. What's particularly nice about it is that it's just a few steps away from the King's Court Shopping Center, which has got all sorts of useful vendors. They have Peet's Coffee, Norris Market, and a little Mexican restaurant. It is probably the best location of all the places we visited because of that."

"My father was in Stonebrook Health and Rehabilitation. It's an amazing facility. They were good in all aspects. What we loved is we had two doctors; we had a doctor from Good Samaritan Hospital, plus the doctor that actually works at the facility. They had great communication, always letting us know the updates. We liked the personalization, that's what my father received there. I could tell he felt comfortable there, and whatever the facility is supposed to provide, they provided it. Even with the COVID situation, you put a mask on, and you would go up to his window with a screen and he'd be laying in bed in the distance, and we could see him. That was kind of nice, I liked that. It's right across the street from the hospital, so it's very convenient."

"I am beyond pleased with the efficiency & professionalism of the Director of Admissions, Mariah. She was a godsend when trying to get my mom transferred out of a facility that was beyond negligent and into Pacific Grove Healthcare Center. She was patient, informative, and overall amazing. Since arriving, my mother is significantly better all around. Just the bright, and open layout of the facility has her happier. The friendliness and trusting demeanor of the stuff has her more relaxed and at ease. I would recommend Pacific Grove Healthcare Center to anyone looking for a top notch Skilled Nursing facility in the Monterey area. You and your loved ones are in great hands here!!!
