"I visited The Terraces, and right now, it is for my sister, who is legally blind. It is very nice. We were impressed with the staff and the facilities and what they had to offer people. The rooms were good. It was a bit spacious and they were satisfactory. I ate at their cafeteria and I had lunch there. It was very good. We checked out their swimming pool. They have a small gymnasium for people who like to work out, and that was something my sister was interested in doing. We looked at some of the outings that they have. It's nice to see that they had some of these things that would take people out into the community for shopping and mini vacations. It just had a very friendly, comfortable, warm atmosphere. It wasn't all that we wanted, but it was pretty nice. "

"I think Almaden Health & Rehab Center is a good place. I don’t really have any complaints. My mother’s complaints would probably be that a lot of the staff doesn’t speak English very well and do not understand what she’s saying. When she says that she needs something, they touch everything to see what she’s talking about. I would say that the care she is receiving is good. The community seems very clean. I don’t think you can really help the food. When you’re on a certain kind of diet, it can be boring. "

"Stonebrook staff has the great customer service. They know your love one very well. I feel so welcome when I came in for a tour. My grandma was there for two weeks and she receive an excellent nursing and therapy care. Thank you so much Stonebrook team... Mr. H "

"A very friendly, loving and comforting place. My mom spent over a year in the care of the dedicated personnel. Everyone from the cleaning crew, CNA's, nurses, therapists, dietary staff, and entertainment staff were friendly and great at their jobs. They made my mom feel welcome and always addressed her by name and with a smile! I dropped in almost everyday at various times and was always pleased with the quality of care. They made her feel like family. Great entertainment offerings daily! "

"My mother is in the Camden PostAcute Care in Campbell. My first impression is that it is a converted motel because it looks like an old motel. Other than that, it looks like it's well-kept, clean, and tidy inside. I think the staff is doing an okay job from what they tell me, although my mom claims that she's not getting showered enough there. They give my mom therapy two or three times a week. The dining area and the food look really good. My mom gets served hot food and coffee there, and it looks very good."

"The rooms, the apartments, and the food are mediocre at Greenhills Manor. There isn't much of a dining room; there's just an area where my mother and the patients eat, and they do have TVs there where they watch movies. They bring them down about an hour before lunchtime, and then they feed them lunch. The staff are very helpful, but I don't really know of any other activities that they have. "

"My husband stayed in Gilroy Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, and we got him out in five days. They didn't have a choice because of how much COVID had gone through there. Anyone coming in new is in a room by themselves. Nobody comes in and out, and they leave your food at the door, and you get it. Even though I was told he was going to go there for rehab to get him up and walking, they said once he got there, they couldn't do that. I wasn't able to interact with anybody other than the social worker once, and he was really nice. My husband just hated it there. He wasn't allowed to see the staff, or even to walk in the hallway. It should be rebuilt."

"My wife moved to Westwood Post-Acute. The care is excellent 24 hours a day. They're attending to her and taking care of her needs. It is quite large. The rooms are clean. The layout is very easy to get around. They have a large patio area that is very nice for my wife to sit in her wheelchair. They have all kinds of activities. My wife is not happy at all with the food."

"My mom moved into San Tomas Convalescent Hospital. My experience so far is wonderful, the staff is terrific, and it's a nice, clean facility. She's kept busy; they have bingo, TV, and exercises. I saw the food, and there's a lot of variety."
