My mother has been in Lincoln Glen Manor. She likes it. I think all these places are way too expensive, but it's a nice building and the people are very nice. They have all their meals provided. They have different workout routines and games. There are different groups of seniors that play different games and gather together. The people seem very happy there. There haven't been any complaints that I know of. For an older building, it's very nice. They've re-landscaped it recently. They keep it well maintained. The food I had was good. If you walk by the place, you wouldn't know that it was a senior community.

Lincoln Glen Manor was very nice and much smaller with nice-sized rooms. The dining was fine, and the food was good. They had a chapel, cottages with patios, and nice landscaping.

We didn’t choose Lincoln Glen Manor because it's not a secure place. The residents can't go out and walk around the garden. They had beautiful gardens, and they had a dog park; it's very nice. But when you're in assisted living, they don’t allow you to walk by yourself. They had orchestra coming in and a big grand piano. It was very high class, and it wasn’t for my mom. The rooms were very nice, spacious, and very clean.

Lincoln Glen Manor was very strict about what goes on there and what you do; I was really surprised. It was really nice, and a lady toured me around. I didn't see anybody; it was very quiet and nothing much was going on. Pets were welcome.

Lincoln Glen Manor was closer to my residence, and their prices were better because it didn't require a move-in cost. They have a church there, and the food's really good. They have a ceramics class, outings, exercise classes, bingo, dominoes, and jigsaw puzzles. They had outings to look at Christmas light and also had a guy come in and play Christmas songs on an accordion. Their activities are really good. The staff has good response time when Mom has needs, which is really good and I appreciate. They have some really nice gardens, and my mom really likes gardens and flowers. They have a meandering path that goes through these garden areas, which she really likes. They have a nice, little patio.

The only thing I would be able to afford at Lincoln Glen Manor was a one-bedroom. I would like a two-bedroom, but that’s out of the question. It had a little kitchenette where you can make your snacks. They offer a whole calendar of activities as well. They would take you on tours, going out on like a field trip, if you wanted to go. I don’t know if they have things nearby that you could get to on your own or not, but they did provide for some of them to go out on these little trips. They had a nice one-bedroom apartment.

I liked Lincoln Glen Manor a lot. I felt it was very homey and very reasonably priced. The people were excellent caregivers. They had little cottages for couples, which was really special. They had memory care. The staff members had been there a long time. The facility didn't have a lot of turnover, which is usually a really good sign. The staff seemed to be very interactive, kind, and supportive of the residents. There seemed to be a high number of staff members per patient, so the patients got a lot of attention. Lincoln Glen was a little bit older, so the rooms were a little bit smaller. The rooms were actually still a generous size, like a nice hotel room. They had a "mini" setup with a little refrigerator and tiny microwave. They did some exercise and had outside therapists to come in if the patients required it.

I visited Lincoln Glen Manor. They were very good and very helpful. The rooms were small but OK. As soon as I walked in, they let me know that there were no places right now, so we didn’t spend as much time, but I did check out all of the facilities. They seemed to have good programs and to have a caring staff there.

Lincoln Glen Manor is far superior to where he was. My dad is in assisted living with high care. The medical staff is collaborative and experienced. The care staff on the whole is really good. They rotate between their memory care and assisted living care on a monthly basis, but you have greater consistency in the persons that you see. You are not getting contract staff in here to substitute when one of their regulars is off. We have very competent care staff that is attentive. The chancellor is more peaceful and is more medically attentive. We have more medical collaboration, as well as efforts to accommodate his needs, which, unfortunately, have deteriorated. It is just a much kinder place. You get a mature community at large and a staff that is sensitive to that and respectful of the dignity of the individual. They make an effort, and they appreciate family involvement, and they embrace that. It is a very caring place.

During my visit,I felt the facility was a great place. The facility itself was well kept, clean, and looks nice. The staff was always willing to assist any resident in need. The I liked how the facility would throw events in which volunteers would keep the residents company while doing little games or event. The staff of the facility did a lot to help keep the residents happy and feel right at home. The staff of the facility always keep the happiness of the residents in mind with whatever they do. I like how the facility allows volunteers to come and join the community of the facility. This allows the residents to meet new faces. The youngsters that volunteer are able to go and interact with the residents while assisting then with the things they need help with. Their presence seems to make the resident's spirit brighter, knowing there are people out there who would give up their free time to come and help out and be with the residents.
