"Faith Gardens was fantastic, I would recommend them any time, any place. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The clients were smiling and all seemed happy. They have different size rooms, and each one had their own bathroom, a nice closet, and some shelves. The rooms were a decent size, and overall, we were highly impressed. "

"I think that Oak Park Place Madison is very good. The staff is very kind and helpful. Mom is learning and meeting friends there; she likes it very much and she's really happy there. The place is very nice, and her room is especially nice (it's bright and sunny). They have activities and so forth. In terms of the price, everything is high right now, but it's a good value for the money."

"Mom moved into Prairie Gardens. When we first took her there to tour the place, she immediately liked it. She liked the atmosphere, which was cozy and friendly. The food is wonderful. The plates and the food are always warm. The staff is very attentive, and they keep the call time to five minutes, ten minutes at the most. They come in and they ask if there's anything else that Mom needs help with. Anything we needed was gotten there right away. We are really happy and she's happy. Mom's room has a path for her wheelchair. It has a large bathroom that she could get into, and everything is arranged nicely. The facility is an older building, but is well kept. Within the one week that she's been there, they had a Halloween craft, bingo, and movies. They have a beauty shop on Thursdays."

"While in the area, we happened upon Twin Rivers Assisted Living. We had been visiting other facilities around the region to consider for our aunt. We were glad that we didn't need an appointment to take a tour. The staff was welcoming and the outside grounds were nicely kept, with plenty of seating areas. Residents were encouraged to walk around regularly as they desire and supervision is always available. The indoors had a nice library area and a large room for other activities, such as board games and other stimulating activities. The facility and staff are equipped to handle our aunt's early Alzheimer's "“ so that was a relief for us. She really enjoys going out "“ and the list of activities included everything from local shopping, beauty salon and entertainment trips "“ to special events held at their facility and others. We liked the exercise room where they had yoga mats and machines. They also have scheduled classes for those who are interested. We happened to be there when they were offering some really good snacks. Despite the fact that the snacks were made to be healthy, they all looked really tasty. The dining room was really lovely "“ as were all the adjacent communal areas. The lunch meal we saw, as well as the menus, looked really appetizing. This facility was really well appointed, designed and had kind and caring staff to assist the residents in having a vibrant life. "

"I went to look at Wellington Meadows. I found the room to be okay. But I was a little concerned about the fact that they didn't have a regular cook, and they had no housekeeper. I wasn't comfortable with the way things were set up. I thought it was an older facility. The staff members were understanding. I saw somebody playing with a toy, and she was fascinated with the toy. They didn't have an activity director at the time, so that concerns me a little bit. The staff came forth with a lot of good information and everything. The facility seemed unkept."

"Our parents have moved into Reena Senior Living. The staff is wonderful. The food looks really good. It's a newer facility, so the amenities are very nice. The activities that are offered seem to be very engaging for our parents. For me personally, it was just close. It is a little bit more expensive, but it really is a nice place."

Meals are really good, and the staff seem more motivated. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and you can tell the new manager really cares about her job and the people who live there. "The View at Johnson Creek was absolutely beautiful. Our tour experience was very good. It's only two years old, so it's all updated and very modern looking. When you walk into the dining area, it's all granite countertops. It's just very, very high scale, but it was out of our price range. The lady who toured me was very, very knowledgeable. She made sure I got to go around and got to see all the different sizes of rooms and all the different activities they had. They had bingo going on and it looked like the whole wing of residents was there. It was packed. A lot of people were enjoying that. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, too."
