He provides direct care to me, healthcare, taking me to my medical appointments, and taking me to the emergency room at the UW Hospital. He provides the transportation for that, which is extremely important for me given my age of 81. He is honest, reliable, nice, and smart. I have no regrets whatsoever. "We hired Visiting Angels for my mother-in-law. She had them for two or three years now, but they'll be starting up services again shortly. They're here when they say they're going to be here. They've provided great care to Mom. She's felt very comfortable with them. When there's a problem, she or I will call; we get a response right away. With Covid, it's been a little difficult right now. They've worked hard to get help, just good communication, and good care. My mother-in-law had one main caregiver. Unfortunately, she left in May. Alisha was great. Mom really liked her. They got along well. No complaints. She did wonderful. They sent mom an invoice. They have the hours listed and how much she owes. We already know the rate. If Mom disputes anything (which there hasn't really been), Mom will just pay them. It's worked out well. Mom keeps a folder, so she knows that she's paid for this month; then she moves on to the next. They provide transportation to doctor's, assistance with showering, assistance with meals, cleaning, laundry, taking the trash out to the road, and bringing the mail in (which is just right outside the door). They do it just to be nice. She was only getting six hours a week at that time, and she's going to be getting more this time; we're going to have to have a combination of a couple. Since we trust Visiting Angels, that's who we want to go with. They're working hard to make it possible."

"We are fairly new to Endearment, under a year. My wife is almost completely incapacitated with primary progressive multiple sclerosis. She needs personal care three times a day: getting up and ready for the day first thing in the morning, toileting and other services mid-afternoon, and put to bed at night. I too am disabled, so I am unable to do a lot of those things for her. We live in our own condo and hope to stay here. The staff of Endearment has been fine. All of them are capable. We have never experienced any less than well performed tasks such as washing, dressing, transfers using the Hoyer lift, etc. -- all the usual services performed by certified nurses assistants. All of the staff has been personable, friendly, in a word "nice" most of the time. The only reason I rate Endearment three stars instead of four is that from time to time reliability has been spotty; that is, assigned staff has not been available. On two occasions, my wife has been left to spend the night up to twenty-four hours in her wheel chair without care due to unavailability of staff. To her credit, more than once the manager has filled in and on one occasion drove back from Chicago, where she had been visiting with her family. Still, the occasional unavailability of services causes me to drop my rating from four stars to three. "

"Same caretaker left a whole week’s worth of medicine out, my mother was confused. Another time evening medication was not given to her. Received invoices with four different prices per hour, twice! Had to call owner to correct the invoices, I would have ended up paying over $200 more than agreed on. Don not recommend this service!"
