We hired Visiting Angels for my mother-in-law. She had them for two or three years now, but they'll be starting up services again shortly. They're here when they say they're going to be here. They've provided great care to Mom. She's felt very comfortable with them. When there's a problem, she or I will call; we get a response right away. With Covid, it's been a little difficult right now. They've worked hard to get help, just good communication, and good care. My mother-in-law had one main caregiver. Unfortunately, she left in May. Alisha was great. Mom really liked her. They got along well. No complaints. She did wonderful. They sent mom an invoice. They have the hours listed and how much she owes. We already know the rate. If Mom disputes anything (which there hasn't really been), Mom will just pay them. It's worked out well. Mom keeps a folder, so she knows that she's paid for this month; then she moves on to the next. They provide transportation to doctor's, assistance with showering, assistance with meals, cleaning, laundry, taking the trash out to the road, and bringing the mail in (which is just right outside the door). They do it just to be nice. She was only getting six hours a week at that time, and she's going to be getting more this time; we're going to have to have a combination of a couple. Since we trust Visiting Angels, that's who we want to go with. They're working hard to make it possible.
