My dad moved to Oak Park Place for rehab. We were here with my mother and are here now because of the care that we believe we received for her, so we are very satisfied with the care. The cleanliness is excellent. They have physical therapy and occupational therapy. They have several gathering areas. They have nice outside services and inside services. They have a physical therapy room that is well-appointed as far as equipment is concerned. The gathering rooms are very nicely done. I have seen their cafeteria and dining room, which is very nice.

I went to Oak Park Place. It was beautiful. It was very, very nice. Everyone was so friendly. It's run efficiently. It seemed to be. The units were nice. It's just I don't want to leave my community. And I don't want to leave my home right now. So I decided to stay, and it was higher. It was more expensive. The staff was very friendly. I saw one and two-bedroom apartments, and they're very nice. It's very clean and up-to-date. The units were all newer appliances, and very nice.

I toured Oak Park Place and everything was nice. I was impressed by their apartment. They did very good use of the rooms. Betty was very thorough and she was very nice when we toured. She's very good. They have an activity room and an outdoor patio.

Nice facility. Staff is friendly, although staffing levels are completely inadequate. Extremely poor management. Director is an unresponsive, do-nothing figurehead. Phone calls go unanswered and facility apparently has no voice messaging system (may be intentional so that they don't have to waste their time responding to calls). Eight phone calls I made in the last 4 days went unanswered after 15 rings. Beware: more resources and emphasis are placed on marketing than on care.

My mom will be moving into Oak Park Place. We chose it because my mom likes it the best. The facility is fairly new. It's in an area that's not urban. It's on the edge of the community. It's near parks, golf courses, and green space, not just buildings. They've got a library and all kinds of different meeting areas for people to be together. The apartments seemed like they were big enough for what we were looking for. The staff members seemed very caring, nice, and professional.

I like that the apartments at Oak Park Place were spacious. I like the part that they had an underground garage being in Wisconsin where we're at right now, so that's good for the winter months and security as well. I like the fact that they come in and do cleaning twice a month. So that was something. And I believe they said, with your rent, you got one meal, breakfast or something, so that was a lot to take in in one day. And the place overall looked nice and clean. It looks like it's in a nice area in Janesville. The staff seemed courteous and knowledgeable. The amenities were kind of mediocre though.

Poor management, understaffed, staff not knowledgeable about care or doctor's orders. Food isn't very good, rooms not cleaned as promised. Beautiful facility that is run very poorly. Corporate needs to clean house so this beautiful facility has a chance!

Oak Park Place Janesville was very nice. There's a bit of a problem though, they have a waiting list, and although it wasn't too lengthy and we probably could have worked it out, that still provided a bit of a concern to us. It is a large place, and they're building new apartments, so they are really going to increase their capacity. It's very adequate and very pleasant with huge, beautiful grounds. It's very peaceful and very nice. The person who got to tour us was very helpful and enthusiastic too. They have patios, green lawns, and trees around, and it's not in a crowded area.

I really liked the Oak Park Place. It was light, bright, and new. It's only a couple of years old, so the hallways are wide. Everything was lighter and brighter décor. There were lots of sunlight. We only met with one staff member, but she was very nice, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. It appeared very clean, light, bright, and there's a dining room on each level. The rooms were nice and roomy. There's plenty of space. The dining room opened to the outside as well, and that was nice. They have an activity center, salon, exercise center, and a big activity room when they have speakers or musicians.

Real nice place. Poor service. Severely understaffed. My fathers info and orders were sent from the hospital the day before he was moved there. No meds were ready for him. Went an entire day without meds. Food was served cold. Sometimes received meds 2-3 hours late. Never received OT . Took up to 2 hours for nurse to answer his nurse call. Staff sometimes very short with him and in a hurry. Doctor orders to elevate his feet when sitting. NEVER followed that order. On only his 4th day his feet were so swollen he couldnt get his stretch slippers on. That was when we moved him to another facility. Never got a reasonable answer to my concerns about his care. After I moved him, no one would answer my calls.

What they promise on their website is not close to the reality of day to day living there, especially for the cost. Mom's room is cleaned haphazardly, the meals are mediocre, the management is non-responsive, there are no activities, they are constantly short-staffed, the shuttle service either doesn't run or 'someone forgot' your appointment, and more. WORSE during Covid-19 with residents in lockdown for over 6 months. Come on people, get your act together! The place looks great - and has the bones to be a nice residence - but this corporation has really let the ball drop.

Do not place your loved one here. You know it’s bad when you call corporate headquarters TWICE to voice your concerns & they never call you back. Unacceptable.

Memory Care side has strong odor, rooms not cleaned, soiled laundry. Spoke with administration several times concerning issues, and they did not seem to care. If I had to do it over again, this place would have been a big no! Do NOT put your loved one here!

My husband and I lead a support group for those with Parkinson's Disease and their care givers. We began holding our monthly meetings at Janesville's Oak Park Place in November 2018. We could not ask for a better place for these meetings. The facilities are new, easy to find with adequate parking and always clean. The staff is friendly and very willing to help in any way needed. Coffee is provided for our group. Our meeting room is large, easy to locate, well ventilated and light with modern a/v equipment. Some participants in our group are residents there. The staff is attentive to their needs and seem to know them quite well. I have had an opportunity to visit one of our participants in her apartment, which was cheerful. She expressed how pleased she was there. I know there are frequent community events there that are open to the public as well as the residents. All around, I feel Oak Park Place is definitely a positive addition to our community.

My mother came to Oak Park Place for so I could go to my grandson's graduation. She had single, very spacious room. The staff did try to get her to interact, but she is stubborn. I know I would bring her back when the need will arise again. Thank You Oak Park Place.
