"Grand Victorian of Rockford is small compared to where we are now. The staff is fine, they're open, and very courteous. The apartment we saw there looked fine inside, and it's comparable to the one we have there. They never offered us a meal so we didn't ask for it. The cleanliness and layout of the community is really good."

"Wesley Willows is a well known and respected retirement community. There are many services available to their residents. They offer many different living arrangements to their guests such as full-time assisted living, as needed care, and independent living. They offer medical services and recovery therapy after surgery. My mother recently had hip surgery and used the facilities at Wesley Willows which allowed her to see her friends while recovering. The staff is very friendly and seems to truly care about their guests. They communicate with the families of there guests through newsletters. They also have activities for their guests such as field trips and ice cream socials. The grounds are always well kept and their buildings are maintained and several are newly built. I am very pleased that my mother is well taken care of. "

"Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center was very nice. The price was what I liked the least about the place, and what I liked the best was how spread out it was. It's a big facility and has a big campus. It had independent living homes on the property and assisted living inside. It was a Christian-based facility, and it was very friendly. They had signs up all over the place about being kind and being very family oriented. It's very nice, but the price was prohibitive. They had a gym, a hair salon, and a little community store. They didn't have to leave just to buy personal care stuff. It's located close to the hospitals."
