They help with general housekeeping chores, taking my mother to appointments, some cooking, running errands, and a little bit of cleaning. It's only been for a couple of days, but we were very pleased with how responsive they were to our requests for information and with their follow- up in person with my sister. Also, they were able to start their skilled in-home assistants the day after my sister returned to her apartment and the non-skilled started the following days, so that's where we're at. They appear to be quite flexible in adjusting the level of care that they're providing based on our needs."

"We are fairly new to Endearment, under a year. My wife is almost completely incapacitated with primary progressive multiple sclerosis. She needs personal care three times a day: getting up and ready for the day first thing in the morning, toileting and other services mid-afternoon, and put to bed at night. I too am disabled, so I am unable to do a lot of those things for her. We live in our own condo and hope to stay here. The staff of Endearment has been fine. All of them are capable. We have never experienced any less than well performed tasks such as washing, dressing, transfers using the Hoyer lift, etc. -- all the usual services performed by certified nurses assistants. All of the staff has been personable, friendly, in a word "nice" most of the time. The only reason I rate Endearment three stars instead of four is that from time to time reliability has been spotty; that is, assigned staff has not been available. On two occasions, my wife has been left to spend the night up to twenty-four hours in her wheel chair without care due to unavailability of staff. To her credit, more than once the manager has filled in and on one occasion drove back from Chicago, where she had been visiting with her family. Still, the occasional unavailability of services causes me to drop my rating from four stars to three. "

They can make decisions and recommendations in a very reasonable way. We have appreciated their participation in our home life. They take responsibility. They are thoughtful and considerate about what they do. My wife needs bedside cares and they are excellent at it. They also do homemaking services/housework. They prepare meals which is very important. The service is indispensable. The company is mature in its judgments. I have enjoyed their communication and contact over the years. "I spoke with Nikki, owner of UniqueIHPC, a couple times. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. Our family wasn't really considering in-home care services because we didn't know much about them. Nikki took the time to explain what her agency can provide and how it could help our family. I haven't used her services yet as I am proactively helping to get backup care plans in place for an elderly relative, but I will definitely reach out to her when we get to that point. "

They have been providing evening caregiving for my mother-in-law who has dementia. They were able to secure a main caregiver, which was key. We can’t say enough good things about Mom’s caregiver. She is on-time for her visits and very dependable. She is caring and respectful and engages Mom in conversion or puzzles or music prior to evening personal cares. We have witnessed first hand the rapport she has with Mom and the trust which has been developed with the caregiver. Agape has been responsive to any questions we have had. The billing process has gone very smoothly as well. We are very happy with their services, which allows mom to remain in her own home."

"ComForCare helps my mom with showering, washing her hair, and doing some of her laundry. They have had to change people a couple of times because of schedule conflicts, but now they seem to be consistent. My mom has mentioned a few things she's not happy with, like the scheduling."

"We hired Visiting Angels for my mother-in-law. She had them for two or three years now, but they'll be starting up services again shortly. They're here when they say they're going to be here. They've provided great care to Mom. She's felt very comfortable with them. When there's a problem, she or I will call; we get a response right away. With Covid, it's been a little difficult right now. They've worked hard to get help, just good communication, and good care. My mother-in-law had one main caregiver. Unfortunately, she left in May. Alisha was great. Mom really liked her. They got along well. No complaints. She did wonderful. They sent mom an invoice. They have the hours listed and how much she owes. We already know the rate. If Mom disputes anything (which there hasn't really been), Mom will just pay them. It's worked out well. Mom keeps a folder, so she knows that she's paid for this month; then she moves on to the next. They provide transportation to doctor's, assistance with showering, assistance with meals, cleaning, laundry, taking the trash out to the road, and bringing the mail in (which is just right outside the door). They do it just to be nice. She was only getting six hours a week at that time, and she's going to be getting more this time; we're going to have to have a combination of a couple. Since we trust Visiting Angels, that's who we want to go with. They're working hard to make it possible."
