Eagle View Manor was right across from where I work. It seemed nice. I don't think there are enough people working there for the number of beds. I was in the living room area where they were watching TV. It was like tables and chairs, like a kitchen/dining room area. The neighborhood was acceptable. It's nice, big and clean.

While in the area, we happened upon Twin Rivers Assisted Living. We had been visiting other facilities around the region to consider for our aunt. We were glad that we didn't need an appointment to take a tour. The staff was welcoming and the outside grounds were nicely kept, with plenty of seating areas. Residents were encouraged to walk around regularly as they desire and supervision is always available. The indoors had a nice library area and a large room for other activities, such as board games and other stimulating activities. The facility and staff are equipped to handle our aunt's early Alzheimer's "“ so that was a relief for us. She really enjoys going out "“ and the list of activities included everything from local shopping, beauty salon and entertainment trips "“ to special events held at their facility and others. We liked the exercise room where they had yoga mats and machines. They also have scheduled classes for those who are interested. We happened to be there when they were offering some really good snacks. Despite the fact that the snacks were made to be healthy, they all looked really tasty. The dining room was really lovely "“ as were all the adjacent communal areas. The lunch meal we saw, as well as the menus, looked really appetizing. This facility was really well appointed, designed and had kind and caring staff to assist the residents in having a vibrant life.
