"Celebration Villa of Allison Park is very organized and very clean. I don't know if I found anything I didn't like. I didn't meet the staff other than the manager that showed me around, and he was good. I guess it was just the time that I showed up. They were probably all busy with folks and stuff. Everything there was nice. I think in the middle is a courtyard, which is very nice. The place was very clean. I had no qualms about that at all. You could get there fairly easily for anything that you need. You're not far from Route 8, you're not far from McKnight or 19. I think it's quite handy, and I think it is in a good location."

"We toured Ashton Commons Senior Living. It was very nice. It's a brand-new place, and it was beautiful. They had cottages, which we didn't go to see because we talked about the price before they took us to show us anything. We knew they were too expensive. We were in their general area, and we saw their dining area and their main common areas. Everything was brand new, and the people there were extremely nice. They had signs up that said they had different programs, like bingo, crafts, and outings, and that you could sign up for. They had rides to appointments like if you had doctor's appointments."

"Everytime I visit the place is getting nicer and more up to date. The staff are friendly and make him happy living there."

"It was a beautiful place to stay, but it was a little expensive. It had all the amenities, a hair salon, and laundry being done. The room was beautiful. It had a little kitchen, a small refrigerator, and a nice bath. My sister-in-law only needed one room, but we were also shown a two-bedroom apartment, and it was beautiful."

"What a beautiful place for mom. The facility is very clean. Most importantly is the care and concern the staff has for the residences. I would recommend Ridgecrest to anyone needing a place to reside."

"The Remington of McCandless has all-day dining, so you don't have a set time to go down to eat. They had a theater and a gathering room. If the family wanted to come in and celebrate something for them, they had this whole area that was beautiful, and it had a refrigerator and a stove. The activities were full on the board. They had happy hours on different days. People were walking around. I didn't taste the food, but I was sitting there, and one of the people who were serving the patients asked them if they wanted pie. The person said, "What kind you got?" They named all five pies that they have. If you didn't like what they were serving that day, they had a menu that you could pick from. They have a bistro. It was outstanding. Katie gave me the tour, and I interacted with two other people."

"I toured Graceful Care Living. I didn't think that the facility was as clean as I would like it to be. I didn't like the housekeeping of it. The one person we spoke to was very welcoming and kind. It was very spacious. My grandmother is in a wheelchair. So, if she did stay there, it would be bigger than the place she has right now. It's very spacious for her condition, but it doesn't look new. Where she's at right now is more updated than that place."

"My dad is in a senior living right now called Brookdale Penn Hills. Over the years that he has been there, if there have been any problems, they communicate very well with me and help me to solve any problems that they come up with him. He's taken care of very well, and the people that work there are really kind. Everything is clean. The food is good. They also have an outdoor patio where there's a garden, and they have an outdoor porch on the front. They always have something going on there. They have bingo, they do crafts, and they have guests that come in. It's not as expensive as some places are, and I think it's a very good value. And it looks like a little home inside."

"The Haven at North Hills was very lovely. All of the rooms were private and very spacious. It was very clean, very bright, and cheery. The dining room was beautiful. They were having some activities while we were there. There were residents attending the activities who seemed to be having a good time."

"AP is a real find! You can't do better for cost, living accommodation & staff. Staff is helpful, friendly & attentive & takes care to ensure residents can be interactive & have some fun with games, movies & a great outdoor space for warm weather. Timely housekeeping/laundry & food is very good. We had excellent access to staff & Director - all very easy to talk with and always addressed needs/issues timely-even immediately when possible. Staff was empowered to take responsibility - no passing the buck, always willing to help. They treated our relative like their own & still treated us like family with kindness & caring after the passing of our loved one. Could not have asked for more. Highly recommend."

"My great uncle is a current resident. The facility has lots of great activities, updates throughout the building, and a caring staff. The room he is in is kept very clean, as well as the rest of the common areas. He also really enjoys the meals!"

"We toured Juniper Village at Forest Hills. The room was very big and clean, and the people were very nice. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and they have a craft area."

"I toured Abode Care of Monroeville. The people were very nice. They're very professional. They have all the things that my dad needs. They have enough facilities open right now if I have to make a move, which I'm planning on doing so that I can get him in there. They have three doctors on staff. Joe was the point of contact there. She was very, very helpful. She was attentive. She was straightforward with me. She talked candidly, which I appreciate because that's how I am. I felt there was nothing that was kept or hidden from me. She put everything out in the open. Everything was right there for me, and I understood what she was saying. I went out there right after lunch and the residents were starting to play bingo. They have a snack area. They have a chef there who cooks the meals. The building was clean. The other thing they told me is if I do choose them, they will remodel the rooms before the person comes in. Other than having to provide a TV and my dad wanting his bed, they provide all that stuff. They had three different levels. They had shared rooms, single rooms with shared bathrooms, and single rooms with just their bathroom. They do have elevated care in case my dad would deteriorate, so they're definitely on my radar."

"The atmosphere in Juniper Village at Monroeville was very home-like. The director was extremely knowledgeable and the services they provided would be everything that my parents would need. My father liked it a lot. The biggest problem we're finding is availability. The facility was very clean. It was recently renovated, so it looks new. The rooms were nice. They were a nice size. There was lots of light through windows and things like that."
