"My experience with Francine and Nathan and all the other staff has been exceptional. They have provided prompt and excellent service for my husband. The staff is friendly, pleasant, caring and polite. The environment is welcoming, and the facility is well kept and clean, and the meals are prepared well with a variety of options on their menu. My husband's room is spacious and bright and is well maintained with a good weekly housekeeping service. The staff does an excellent job in keeping the residents engaged in games, exercise classes and a variety of other activities."

"It was more homey for my mother-in-law. The people were more welcoming. The residents that were there were very friendly. It's an older building. It's a little less expensive because you're not paying for all the modern looks. They have activities and meals. There are three floors, and each floor has four caregivers, so if one of the patients needs something, they're right there. They have all the appliances. The staff member was fantastic. There wasn't a question that we asked her that she didn't answer. She was very upfront and helpful. Their activity room was kind of in disarray. They're doing some kind of Disney feature, so it was a wreck. If it didn't have the sign out front, you would think it was an apartment building."

"My family member is very happy here. The staff are very caring and attentive. Management are accessible and take swift action on any things that need to be addressed. The first thing noticed is the age of the facility but I’m told a major renovation is eminent. Our relative is making friends. They are picky about food but they are satisfied with the taste and quality - no complaints. There are activities but I’m not sure what they are as they don’t participate. They have a transport to take residents to medical Appointments. Again we are very impressed with the proactive approach of the management team. "

"I've placed my elderly aunt there, and so far, I am very pleased. This facility is not part of a big fancy chain, but they keep their clients clean and well-fed and they obviously care about them. My aunt is showing lots of cognitive improvement thanks to the socialization. "

"Sweet Caroline was nice, small, and very private. They had a lot of activities planned, and they take them out every day to do something. They go to senior centers and picnics. The person who toured us around was very nice. When they found out that my grandmother had a pretty good sweet tooth, they actually baked a cake for us. "

"My mom is a resident of Heavenly Touch Care Home. They have home-cooked meals, which are good food. They have one lady there who is from Africa, and she cooks a traditional meal or something from there. Some kind of stew or something, and my mom likes it. The owner of this facility, we like her. She has compassion for the elderly. She's nice and all the ladies who work here. Everybody's like family, but they can do their stuff. They do allow smoking in a certain area. Now the lady is making some improvement. She put new furniture in the living area. She did put in new security cameras, which I suggested immediately when she bought the place, which I was thrilled with. So they do have cameras throughout the facility, not in the rooms or anything, but in the common areas."

"My father-in-law was at Somerset Court of Cherryville. I liked the level of care and the staff. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They had a good attitude. There weren't many options in food and it's a limited menu. They had plenty of activities there. They had bingo, movie night, and gift exchange for holidays and birthdays. They celebrate everyone's birthday. They took them out at Christmastime. They went to a parade. They'll take them shopping. They go to Wal-Mart and local stores in the area. They had a lot of people who were bedridden or in wheelchairs. The staff was so busy."

"We moved both my parents into Country Time Inn. My father had severe dementia and my mother stayed to be near him. He passed and she is a current resident. The staff took great care of my Dad, and were kind and patient. My Mom is mobile but up in age. She has been happy at Country Time Inn and the staff has been courteous and professional. The management is warm, they listen and communicate with you really well. The staff is largely young. Young staff can be iffy, with a nonexistent work ethic. But CTI has a core of staff that are always there, always working hard, and ready to help you. You just have to get to know them and then trust develops. That core staff was always there for my Mom and Dad. Country Time has beautiful grounds and its quiet outside. Great for walks. The residents are nice to so for Medicaid residents who share rooms you have a good shot at a decent roommate. The food can be up and down as far as taste and yumminess. (Hint, hint pay your cooks more, food is important:)) Be willing to take your loved ones some tasty treats every so often and that issue is lessened. Overall a good experience with CTI."

"They prepare good food that's warm. The housekeeping ladies that clean my room do a great job. I still enjoy my independence and am able to drive to the restaurants and shopping across the street."

"We went to Henderson Care Center Inc and it's about 20 miles from us. It's very nice, the people were nice there, and they cook every meal. If you're in independent living you can have no meals, or you can pay more, and have every meal made and delivered to your apartment. Each of the apartments has a garage and a deck out back, and it's just like being in a nice area, but it's expensive. The rooms were clean, and nicely laid out. It's a big, sprawling place, everything is on one floor, they have game rooms, a movie place, and they can watch movies together, but not with the COVID-19 issues. It's just a clean place, and a couple of people there said they liked it; it's wonderful."

"I dropped by at Rosewood Rest Home late evening and I could not find anybody on the floor to give my husband his night medicine. There were supposed to be two people at night time, but they disappeared. I don't know if they quit or got fired. The facility has wirings that are not working. Their water heater is not working and unfortunately they won't fix it. My husband told me that they don't feed him the most, thus, we have to go down there to buy him extra stuff to eat. "

"Heritage Oaks was very depressing, very dark, and very close. It wasn't an open, spacious place, and it was not very big for the number of people they had. It was not well lighted at all, and the colors that they chose for the rooms and hallways were not good. The rooms were small, but no smaller than the fancier places; they were about the same size. You're just not going to find a big, spacious room in all of the assisted living facilities. Their list of activities was posted on the bulletin board, and they had about the same kind of things going on as other places. There was something scheduled all the time. I saw the dining room, and it looked like a school cafeteria. I didn't like it at all. If they could just maybe repaint with some cheerful colors and put in more lighting, I think that would help tremendously. I know they can't stretch the walls and make the rooms bigger, but they can change the décor so it’s a little more cheerful. "

"My father has been a resident at Holly Springs for 8 months. He has consistently received compassionate and competent care. The staff and administrator are responsive to the unique needs of each resident, treating them and their families with respect. There is a "homey," family feel to the facility. It is affordable, the food is good, activities and socialization are provided. I gladly recommend this facility to anyone. "
