"We toured Thrive at Montvale. We liked the amenities, and we liked the fact that it was very new and very fresh. It was very nice. The staff was great, and we enjoyed the tour. We liked their meal plan and the size of the facility. It was not too big and not too small. We liked the fact that they could move from independent to assisted living if they needed to. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and they wanted to get to know my parents, which was good. The cleanliness was great. We liked the courtyard quite a bit. They had a garden room and a giant LEGO area for families to play in, and they had water features, but the units were a little bit on the small side. The atmosphere was vibrant, and we liked the setup, the layout, and the spaces."

The entire process was emotionally draining, and the entire management team recognized my stress , and they were incredibly supportive. The memory care community, where my mother resides is a very well designed unit. There are multiple rooms for activities to take place, the staff seem well trained, the food is fantastic according to my mom. I feel that my mother is so well cared for. I am called for any changes, the communication is top notch and the aides are always with a smile. Nothing is perfect, but any time I voiced a concern, the memory care team, of facility administration verbalized a quick plan to resolve the issue. I would have my mother in no other place. "Sunrise of New City is a beautiful place. They look after the people really well. I do not have anything bad to say about it. You can bring your own things in the apartment, which makes more homey. There is a bathroom and a room. They have snacks and ice cream days. The sitting arrangement in the dining room is like a restaurant. I feel comfortable that he is there, and he is happy there.
