"My mother is in Ashton Grove. She is in a studio unit. It's a very nice facility. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and nice. The level of care that they give is really good. I can't say enough good things about them. They're wonderful. The food is very, very good. This is a top-notch facility. I don't have anything negative to say. It's good value for money."

"Rose Mary C. Brooks Place was a beautiful place. If I have to go somewhere else to live, I would definitely go there. I checked everything they had, but they can't and won't supply the help that my friend needs. He needs more help than those places are up to. They are more a place to go, either for senior living or for some help. This time what he needs is more than what they can offer. The staff was very nice to me. Nobody had any issues. They were very good. They took me in early. The major person to give me information wasn't there, but they came up with the information between a few of them. The rooms were very nice. It had everything anybody would need that can't live in their home anymore. It was a great place. The people that were living there when I did the walk through seemed very happy."

"My brother moved into Boonesboro Trail Senior Living for 11 hours, but he got combative, so we had to take him to a hospital where he eventually passed away. The facility was new, just built in 2021. They were very super nice people. It's a super clean place. All the staff was friendly. Everybody was just as helpful as they could be. His room was good and it was a little bigger than some. It was clean, and the bathroom was a good size with a standup shower. He had a view of the back where he could see the cars passing on the bypass. When we finally got him moved in with the furniture, they were very helpful in helping us get all that done. And then when they got him in, they were very helpful with everything. All we had to do was ask and they just jumped right on it. They had a good activity list. Because we told them that we'd be coming about every once in a while to take him out for country rides on the weekends, and they said that they have a bus and they'll do country rides. "

"We've decided to keep my mom at Liberty Ridge and just move her to a smaller room that was more affordable for her. We love it there so much. The staff is wonderful - the administration, the director, and everyone. We've been pleased. My mother moved up to assisted living, and she's been in a 1-bedroom apartment for probably eight years. I just recently moved her to a smaller room. Her room is beautiful. It's very light. The view is pretty, and I just had all good things to say. They have an activity director named Sarah, who's fabulous. She's got a lot to do for them. Like when I left, they were watching a movie in their movie room. There are exercise classes multiple days a week. There are movies, going out to dinner, grocery shopping, Dollar Tree shopping, and there's bingo all the time. There are activities in the building, and there are a lot of activities outside of the building, too. Their food is good. We eat there together sometimes. They do have a dining room where all of the residents dine together at different tables. If you're having a family come in and eat with you, there's a little private dining area with French doors that you can close off to make it more quiet and intimate. We looked around at other places and this just suits us. It's very cozy and very homey. The residents and the staff are very family-like. It's a perfect place for us. My mother gets excellent care. The care means more to me than the places that have crystal chandeliers and granite fireplaces. It's more like the place where you live. It's very clean. There's a beautiful little garden. There are benches out front. It's on a 38-acre property and it was originally the Mission Church. So, there's a lot of green space around it. There's green space in front of it. There are cottages around it. You can sit out front on the benches or you can sit out back. There's a flower garden. Some of the residents grow their own vegetables in the raised gardens. There are lots of trees, and it's very pretty. I've spent the last month or so researching different places. And certainly, we're staying here because, for the money, it's absolutely the best deal going. "

"My mother was a resident at The Willows at Hamburg for 3 1/2 years. She really felt at home there. The food was very good and she enjoyed many of the activities, especially the trip to Keeneland and a trip to a butterfly farm. We found all of the staff exceptionally caring. When my mother became a hospice patient all of the staff were unfailingly kind to my mother and my sister and me. I would not hesitate to recommend them."

"My mom was at Windsor Care Center. She did physical therapy there for 11 days. We loved it there. It's in our hometown. My mom would like to be there so she can be close to home. They're just very kind and helpful, and they seem to care about the patients. We went to a Thanksgiving dinner there, and the food was very good. Their rooms aren't very big, but they're very clean."

"I chose Bourbon Heights because it is very close to my home. The facility is clean and well-kept. The staff there seems to care for their residents. My mom has a feeding tube now, so I really can't tell about the food they serve there. "

"I toured Sterling Meadows, LLC. It's very clean. Everybody was very friendly. It looks like a lot of the patients were very engaged and well cared for. They seem to be very knowledgeable about the patients, and very attentive when you come in. When I went in, they were very attentive and I wasn't expecting much. I was very impressed with their security measures. They seemed to have good security measures in place, not only for people coming in but for potential patients trying to leave when they oughtn't."

"My husband moved to Northpoint/lexington Healthcare Center. Me and my kids have been very pleased with the way they've taken care of him, and he is pleased with them, too. The food could be a little tastier from what he says, but that's all. Everything else seems to be excellent. So, I would recommend them at this point but he hasn't been there very long. The staff are all extremely nice."

"My mother is in Mayfair Village right now, and is very happy there, it's just they don't have the level of care that she needs. It's extremely well managed and it's clean. The food service is good, and the staff is excellent. I can't say enough good things about it. They have several activities, but she didn't participate. With the pandemic, they've been very cautious and very strict. Based on the conditions, they have adjusted nicely."

"I highly recommend Tanbark Rehabilitation and will go again, if needed, without reservation. I was at Tanbark Rehab following a shoulder replacement. The staff is wonderful! They helped with everything I needed. I was unable to shower by myself and the assistants that helped me made me comfortable. The nurses were professional and caring. The rehabilitation staff were amazing. The PT and OT staff were knowledgeable and engaging. I looked forward to that part of my day. Everyone I meet from the doctors to housekeeping, front office, administrative staff and dietary staff made me feel comfortable and cared for. My only complaint is their medication system. Their pharmacy is in Louisville. Enough said."

"The Willows at Citation was a beautiful building. It's in a quiet neighborhood and it does not look like a nursing home inside or outside. I told my friend it was more like a hotel. We have not seen the room where she's going to be, but we have seen similar rooms and one of the girls even sent us pictures, too, to show her. Jaden was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. Last week, she even came to my friend's house and talked with her. If we pass staff in the halls, most of them stop and talk to us. Even the CEO was out and about and he stopped and talked with us. The dining area looks like a restaurant. It's very nice, very clean, and has lots of room. So, that was a plus. I haven't seen all of the facilities, but they have physical therapy, occupational therapy, a beauty shop, and a full-time nurse. It's just top-notch."
