It was nicely decorated with a good layout. The staff was perfect: very friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. There was a bigger refrigerator, which was a plus, and counter space, so that was good.

It was nicely decorated with a good layout. The staff was perfect: very friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. There was a bigger refrigerator, which was a plus, and counter space, so that was good.

It was in a nice location. The facility looked very nice. The rooms were also very nice, clean, and very practical. Valerie was excellent. She did good. My biggest problem was that it's on the far side of town from where we live. It wasn't a negative, but that's why I didn't like it as good as the other place.

We toured. I really liked it. She showed us the apartments my mom and dad would live in. I liked the way it was set up and everything. She showed us the dining area and all of that. It just seemed like a very nice place. I didn't want to visit any other places because I just felt like she made me feel really comfortable, and that they would take care of our parents. So, I was happy with everything. I took a video with a video phone, so I shared the video with my other siblings, and everybody liked it. I even talked to my mom, and she liked it too. The atmosphere was very nice, and that's what I liked about it.

My father-in-law has moved in. He's in memory care. It's been great so far. We really enjoy it. No complaints on our end. We were hoping he'd be in the assisted living, but he just needs a higher level of care. The assisted living area is beautiful. The entrance is very welcoming. In the memory care, his room is a little bit smaller, but he's got enough room for maneuvering in his wheelchair. It's got all the amenities. He has a mini-fridge and a little kitchenette area, and the bathroom is nice. The staff has been nothing but helpful for any questions we have, or any help we've needed while he's been there. They have arts and crafts time where they can do painting. They also have coloring books and puzzles and things of that sort. He has enjoyed all the meals he's gotten. No complaints on our end. We've actually eaten with them and it was pretty good. It's not like gourmet food, but for an assisted living place it's pretty good. We've got four kids and they offered all my kids free meals while we were there visiting. They've been great. They've been supportive in the transition because he went from assisted living into the memory care, so that was a pretty big adjustment for him. He seems to be doing pretty good with it. They've been nothing but helpful. I know memory care is expensive. It pretty much doubled in price from assisted living to that, so it was a bit of a shock.
