Colten Adult Care - Casa Buenavante is like a home. My mother-in-law lives there and it's very comfortable. All their rooms are secluded so that they can have their privacy, yet they're checked on every two hours. They have a big family room where they have enough seating for the number of residents and two dining spaces if needed. So, they seem to handle it all very well. They do different things on different days. They have arts and crafts, music, cooking, and painting. They're constantly interacting with the residents, and the residents themselves interact with each other. The staff is very helpful. They get them up and dressed them. They had a birthday party already for one of the residents and did something special for Valentine's Day. So, they're constantly being kept busy. They give them three set meals a day that is very well planned out. We went there for lunch and it smelled delicious, and they all loved the food. One of the first things the residents said when we went to visit the place was that the food was delicious. They are also free to have snacks anytime they want to. If they feel they want a banana or they want some cookies or anything, they can. The staff is very, very helpful. They do their laundry for them, wash her clothes separately, hang them up, and put them in the drawer. They do everything that I would do for her. I think it's worth every penny.
