I've toured Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley and it's wonderful. It's a beautiful place, but the cost was too much, we couldn't afford that. It was supposed to be my second choice. It was a brand-new place and it was nice. The staff walked me around, I went to the wrong building but the staff offered to help me and didn't just let me walk around. Their security is good too. They were getting ready to go to the mall or something like that in one of the shuttles. The facility is good, they're doing a little remodeling but they kept that contained.

We went down to Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley today. I liked it. The people were friendly. It was very nice, very open, and a very homey environment. They had a studio and a one-bedroom. They were very nice and I had no problems with them at all. They showed the activity room and there was some exercising, they had bingo night, Super Bowl party nights, and they had dancing. I saw a library. They encourage you to walk, which is good. The menu looks very nice and very healthy.

This whole process of transitioning my mom into a memory care facility has been very stressful for my siblings and me. When deciding on a facility, we found the tour and information that Tori gave us to be very helpful with our decision to place her at Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley. During the move/transitioning of our mom to Pacifica, we appreciated very much how Heidi and her team made this process a very smooth one with answering all of our questions and all the updates along the way. Our mom has been there now just under a couple of months. During that time and our visits with mom there, every single staff person, from the point of checking in at the front desk with Ashley (and anyone who is there when she is not) to the end of a visit has been extremely professional and kind and have continued to answer our questions as well as to provide continued updates. We have seen firsthand just how kind and caring the staff are with our mom as well as the other residents in her cottage! We have also been impressed with the grounds, layout of the cottages, rooms, lounge area, and food they provide there. We are especially excited by the variety of activities that are available for the residents there as well as Emily and the awesome staff that help to run them! Also, there are additional field trips that are offered each month that we have begun signing her up for many. We are grateful to Pacifica SLPV for taking much of our worry and stress away as our mom’s dementia continues to progress. We are happy to be a part of their family!

My sister is a resident at Pacifica she really enjoys living there… the atmosphere is very warm, homey and welcoming! It is a smaller community so she feels very comfortable. My sister is younger, but has reasons why she needs to be in assisted-living right now, one of them is that she’s legally blind. The staff always treats her with respect, kindness and encouragement. She has lived in a couple of other communities and this one is definitely the best place she has ever lived. I also really like the building, it is pretty much brand new, clean and very nicely decorated! I do not have anything negative to say about Pacifica for my sister it has worked out perfectly. The staff is very open to suggestions from residents and family on how to improve their AL. The residents are very close in relationship because it is a smaller community and that is 👍 nice

I love this place. Thank you for taking care of my mama. The staff is excellent. I took care of her at home for years and this allows both of us to be able to do the things we like.

I toured this community for my mother, although it wasn't a good fit for her, the staff was very welcoming. They provided resources for me to help me find the right place. I have referred several of my personal clients to them since the visit. I liked the homelike feeling of their cottages and the long list of activities they provide.

My Dad lives at Pacifica Senior Living, Memory Support Community. I am also in the industry, so I knew what we were looking for. Heidi and her staff are amazing at providing great care to all Residents. They truly love their Residents! Every employee has been caring and helpful to my Dad, and we are always encouraged to come and visit or participate in the many activities they offer. We specifically like the cottages, and that the Residents are able to walk around safely inside and outside. There are also many outings that the Residents enjoy, such as going to lunch or out for ice cream. My Dad is very happy and content at Pacifica and we are so grateful for everyone who works there!

I liked Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley. The facilities are very clean, very nice, and very well run. The staff was really nice, accommodating, and explained everything. They have a salon, people that do the nails, crafts, and they have entertainment that comes in. They do a lot. The rooms were also nice. Where my mom is right now, they mixed the residents who still function well with people whose dementia is a little more progressed. Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley doesn't mix them together. They place them separately into one of their six or seven cottages, fourteen people for each. I like their system better, and it's much, much cheaper.

From my initial visit something told me this would be a good place for my mom. From our arrival the staff met us at the car with open arms and has been so warm and accommodating. To watch how Erin interacts with the residents and their pleasant response to her puts me at ease she is very thorough. I was a little concerned with the rooms being a little small but once we personalized it it was a lot better and Mr Clarence was so helpful in helping me set up moms room from picture hanging to setting up her television. Nurses are very helpful and the entire staff is very pleasant. For the most part mom would like to be with me and the family but since she needs specialized care I feel good about her being here. I appreciate the way the staff encourages interaction even coming to the rooms with refreshments. Games and television are offered in the main area, since my mom has been a loner this should be good for her and hopefully she’ll explore the beautiful green lawn area that’s easily accessible to her, with gazebo and chairs and occasional visiting tortoise 🐢 My mom means the world to me and I’m very much at peace having her here. Updates will follow.

The pandemic has made a bad situation truly horrible. But, the staff here has done their best to be positive, helpful and upbeat. They are caring and competent people who provide the residents with comfort and individual attention. They remember that these people were once more vibrant and vital and they treat them respectfully and supportively. i am pleased with the level of contact they make with me to let me know how my dearly loved one is doing and what he needs.

Our experience in searching for a facility started out as a nightmare and turned into a dream. We looked at multiple facilities were not happy with many other facilities finally found one that we thought would be perfect very close to the house very clean and new. This was a true nightmare I won’t go into the exact experience but it was horrifying. Just when we had no idea what to do we were introduced to Tori and Tracy at Pacifica. What 180° turn around for my previous experiences facility had plenty of outdoor space very accommodating spectacular people from all the nurses to the people running the facility our hearts were put at ease, And the entire experience from start to current has been truly spectacular I could not recommend them more

The rooms, food, activities all of what they offer and how they care for all the clients is top notch! Our loved one has been living/thriving here for 6 years now. Highly highly recommend!

After touring many assisted living facilities in the valley for my Uncle, I am so grateful I finally found Pacifica. Tori was so kind and welcoming and made me feel confident that my Uncle would be well cared for and loved. In fact, every staff member I have come in contact with has made me feel this way. The brand new assisted living facility is gorgeous. The apartments are large with high ceilings and spacious bathrooms. My Uncle has lived there for about two weeks now and really likes it. He says the food is great and the activities are a lot of fun. Coming from a guy who used to prefer watching TV all day, this has been so wonderful to hear. My family and I are thrilled!

I have a dear friend at Pacifica and I am also her POA. She has been a resident almost four years. The dedication to each and every resident is astounding. Administration, care staff and ancillary staff are helpful, professional and truly caring. Residents' physical needs, as well as emotional and social needs are met and tailored to each individual resident. Residents live in a home like atmosphere and are offered many different activities. This facility is beyond excellent. I would highly recommend Pacifica to both family and friends who are in need of a top notch memory care facility.

We put my mother in Pacifica April 6, 2020. Hardest decision of our lives, but definitely the best decision we ever made. She really has blossomed since being there. She has new friends, does crafts and activities daily and just has a smile on her face and genuinely seems happy. Ronni, the activities director is amazing and keeps the residents on their toes with fun each day. Even though we haven't been able to see her until this last week with all the covid stuff, we have seen updates and pictures on Facebook and that have really been a blessing. The food looks amazing as well and all the staff are so friendly. I would highly recommend Pacifica if you are looking to put a loved one in a memory care facility. Tori made the process so easy and was there to calm our nerves and welcome our mom with love and kindness. Thank you Pacifica for putting us at ease.

I can't say enough good words about Pacifica Memory Care! My husband has mid-stage dementia. We had an unusual situation in that at that beginning of the Covid lock down, the home my husband was in for less than a month closed, and I had to find a new place for him. Of course he was free of the virus and Pacifica took us in during this difficult transition. He went from being at home in my care, to two different places in less than a month. Pacifica has been great! they keep me informed and have worked with us in getting my husband settled. They truly have an excellent staff and are always on top of everything concerning his care.

So grateful to everyone at Pacifica for the updates on cases at one of the cottages at Pacifica. They have done a great job keeping the outbreak contained in the one cottage, not to mention the fact that since all of this started, it has just now found its way into this facility. Until now there have been no cases of COVID there. All of the residents and staff are new being tested, and positive cases quarantined in the hospital. Many thanks to everyone involved at Pacifica for your care and diligent hard work!!!

My mom has been a resident at Pacifica for 4 1/2 years. Our family is very satisfied and grateful for the excellent care provided by all the staff (nurses, caregivers, dietary, maintenance, office, and activities departments). They are a dedicated "family" whose goal is to make your loved one feel like they are at home. They have provided us and my mom with a high level of professionalism, competence, compassion, and kindness during this painful and difficult struggle with dementia. The physical layout of the facility is unique in that there are separate cottages for different levels of care. The residents can move freely in and out of the cottages, enjoying the big porch with rockers and comfy benches or the pretty landscaped yard full of flowers, a gazebo, and birdhouses. The entire area is encircled with a locked fence for security. My mom loved to sit on the porch and watch the birds and check on the flowers. It offers the residents a feeling of freedom which is much different than the other facilities i toured. They have a full daily calendar of activities and also do off-site "breakfast clubs" and trips to different events. The cottages are L shaped with the TV room, dining area, and kitchen centralized and two hallways of rooms branching off from there. Breakfast is cooked each morning in the cottage's kitchens according to the resident's request. It's similar to being at home - providing a choice and the aroma of good cooking. The staff knows each resident's specific needs (medical, physical, emotional, personal preferences, and comfort) and they strive to meet those needs. My mom had balance and mobility issues and Pacifica obtained an order for in house physical therapy. Her legs are edematous - they offered to place her in a recliner for two hours a day to reduce swelling. We feel very blessed and relieved to know that our mom is being cared for at such a wonderful facility.

I am a relative of a current resident. I am impressed with the care given at this facility, as well as the friendly, responsive staff, and the general cleanliness of the facility. The residents can walk outside (within the secure area) on garden paths, or sit on comfortable lounges and rockers under fans and mist-makers. The food is good, and they offer frequent family lunches, when family members can come and eat with their loved ones. They also have an impressive number of art, music, and pet therapy opportunities for the residents, and even outside field trips for those who are still mobile and can communicate.

Pacifica Senior Living was a good place, but the people in the mild Alzheimer's unit were severe. There weren't openings in the severe unit, so the people that had gotten worse were stilll in the mild unit. There were single rooms, and they were very well kept. It's what you would expect from somebody with more memory problems to have. They were great people. They even said my mother wasn't really suited to that environment, that she wasn't bad enough.

My mom moved to Pacifica three weeks ago. The staff is great there, and there is a three patient to two staff ratio. They had a lot of programs that would be good for her. They are all individual rooms; one of the things is they have cottages versus a single building. The cottages are behind a locked facility versus being a locked building. So she should roam on the ground. They have over a 40 mile walking path amongst the building. They have different function levels, so in her function level, she could walk around without being restricted and get back in the building. Each cottage has a little dining space. The food is fine, and the dining areas in each cottage were remodeled. All brand new including furniture. They have bingo twice a month, and depending on your level of functionality, they have trips to libraries and casinos. The staff really impressed me -- the floor plan and making them feel at home as much as possible.

My mom is already situated in the Pacifica. She is doing great. The environment is great, and the staff has been wonderful. It is a wonderful place. The social worker at the hospital helped us find the place. As for the food, there are no complaints. The Pacifica is the cleanest, and they were the most professional. The grounds in the area are really nice.

I've only been at Pacifica Senior Living one time. I went around with a lady, and she was very nice. She showed me everything. She was the person in charge. It was clean and the rooms were nice. Their bedroom was pretty large. They were serving lunch at the time in the dining room with the cooks. I'm not into the kind of food they serve; they were too healthy. They had a lot of vegetables on their plates. They were finishing up, and people were taking their plates away.
