This is one of those assisted living facilities that feels more like a resort. It's in a beautiful small town, and Fountain Hills is surrounded by the gorgeous mountain views so many residents have great views. There is plenty of outdoor seating so people can enjoy the year round great weather. The staff is highly attentive and they REALLY pay attention. A resident who is lost or having trouble will be spotted within seconds, I have witnessed this personally numerous times. The food is really good, a true step above cafeteria style fare, and there is a lot of variety. The residents are generally in good spirits and enjoy being there, and my Aunt Theresa found it far better than any of the other ones she looked at. She loves it there! They have lots of activities for the residents and while they are not pushy they do encourage them to interact and join in on the movie and game nights, etc. It gets a great rating in my book!
