This is a beautiful home. They have been in business for 10 years. The house is average size . They have 8 residents. They have private and semi-private rooms with shared well equipped handicapped bathrooms with walk in showers. The bedrooms are good size with lots closet space and are sunny. There is a large living room/sitting room. There is an eating area and good sized kitchen. The food is all home cooked. It is very good with lots of variety, They provide 3 meals and snacks. The staff does all the laundry and housekeeping. There are live-in caregivers. 2 on staff days and one nights. They also have alternates if someone is gone or ill. The owner comes in daily to assist, visit with th residents, and does their hair. All are certified caregivers staff They have a primary doctor who comes in. They have an RN on call as needed. They have a nice park close by. They encourage lots of active stimulation. They do exercises and play games. They have a guitar player who comes in and other entertainment. There is a large walled in backyard with a patio and bbq. The yard is grassy and well kept. They have birthday parties, bbqs. and get togethers. Family is encouraged to participate in all outings and activities. They do transport the residents out for shopping. They take them to picnics, ball games, movies and other outings. The home is very clean. The residents seem very happy The staff are quite nice and caring. The owner is very involved and caring, I was very impressed with this home.
