I was very impressed with Mosaic Gardens Memory Care at Chandler. It was good lighting. There weren't any smells. There weren't any obvious things that would cause me to be concerned. They talked a lot about their Montessori style of care, which I am very interested in. I think my mom would do very well in a community that is inclusive. They're allowing my mom to be an active part of not only taking care of herself but taking care of others, too. They have the ability to help facilitate things that have been meaningful to my mom in her prime like allowing her to continue to sew and just being able to own that as a new home. I think the transition is going to be difficult for my mom and my family in general, but I feel like Mosaic has the ability to successfully transition her. I love that their director of nursing is an RN and that she's very, very involved. She's very hands-on and very genuine. I would say that Mosaic would probably be my number one choice. I love that it's very hands-on. I feel like the activities were so much more than bingo. There weren't any dislikes for me at all. I felt like it was a good community. It's in a great location. The building was clean and laid out very well. It looked a little older on the outside than it did on the inside, which may be a deterrent. The atmosphere was very calm. I toured with my sister and that was the very first thing that she noticed. It was quiet, it seemed joyful, and it seemed peaceful. It was a very lovely atmosphere.
