Willowbrook offers a facility that mimics home life. The rooms are spacious and “airy”. Very easy to maneuver in. The residents have an opportunity to participate in outings such as shopping, an evening out for dinner a trip out to a casino or they can stay home and enjoy movies with other residents. Willowbrook provides three meals a day with snacks whenever you’d like. Residents have a choice of what they’d like to eat. Meals are always nutritious and enjoyable, residents have time to catch up with there friends. The staff has been wonderful, always more than willing to help. Very concerned of residents health care needs. I couldn’t possibly ask for better communication. We are very thankful for Willowbrook!

A previous review mentioned “it’s a very nice place”, however, end of August this facility was only open 3 months and had less than 10 residents. Having a loved on live there, and having to manage their care daily due to inept management is frustrating ! Residents pay $5k -$6.5k for not a lot of “Assistance” in assisted living. Staff do not administer meds accurately, documentation is lacking, very little resistance to help the elderly (choosing to be on their cell phones). Management is THE WORST! No compassion whatsoever in difficult times and really only want your money. There are plenty of other places where it is enjoyable to live during these senior years. Our elderly shouldn’t have to deal with anything other than kindness, compassion and understanding. Overall this place is not a nice place to put your family members.

When I went to see Willowbrook Assisted Living, it was two weeks before they were even open. However, they were finished, and they were just putting every last small thing in place. Willowbrook was nice. It was another smaller community as there were only 24 units. It is brand new, and it's now open. The staff member who showed me around was very helpful. She showed me the whole place. She did a nice job with that. She was good. The nice thing about Willowbrook Assisted Living is that it is connected to a nursing home. If your parent gets worse, he/she can move into another building, which is on the same premises, and be taken care of there. It has assisted living and nursing home care. Willowbrook is beautiful. It is a very nice place.
