I lived at Beech Pointe for 9½ years. There are many, many wonderful people there. They have different activities, like going on outings. They also have a library, an exercise class, and different Bible studies. Their meals are just wonderful. They have washers and dryers for people to use. The most beautiful factor for this place is that when you walk out the door, someone is always there.

I lived at Beech Pointe. It's a family-oriented community and the residents are very close to one another. They have a club called Beech Bunch that does different activities together. Three days a week people pay a certain amount of money and the Kenosha Aging and Disability brings over food for them. They get pretty happy about it. It's quite fulfilling. The staff is for the most part very caring and they have on-site maintenance. They have a library, movies, social rooms, and coffee every morning.

Beach Pointe is on 10 acres off the highway. It's very quiet and the grounds are beautiful. There are activities if I want to get into them. I can do pretty much what I want. I have pets here. This facility has a place for me to take the dogs. I have my own apartment with a bedroom and a very nice living room. The bedroom's a good size. I can get a king-sized bed in there and 2 dressers. In the living room, I have a TV, chairs, a couch and a dining room table that all fits well. I have a large bathroom too with handicap accessories in it. I have a small kitchen though.
