I chose the English Meadows Manassas Campus for my mom because it was closest to my other son's house. It's easier for everybody to be able to visit her. It's a brand-new facility and it's beautiful. The staff was super helpful. She's very kind and easy to work with. I enjoyed talking with her. They have all the standard needs that the patient would have, plus the rehab has an office right there in their facility. They have a salon. They have physical therapy. They have a movie room with big psychiatric recliners that you can even rent out if you want to have a party.

I toured English Meadows Manassas Campus. Everything is new. They have a lot of activities to do. The place is very bright and cheerful. There are places for families to come and visit. They had a group of people playing cards, and one of the staff was running a table, and looked like they were having a great time.

My mom moved into English Meadows Manassas Campus last week. It's very cozy and not too big of a facility, so it's very home-like. They have a brand-new facility coming up. They had very good promotions, and it was very affordable. They have a very simple model for financing, and the rate includes everything, like food, care, and everything. The staff seemed very nice. They're very prompt. When my mom needs help, she presses the button, and somebody comes right away. My mom loves the food. If she doesn't like something, they will customize it for her. I think she's well cared for. The management staff listened to us well, knowing what our needs were, and they tried to accommodate them as much as they could. They moved very fast because we had to make some quick decisions. My mom's room is nice. It's a little small, but it's enough for her. They have a very good menu. It's restaurant style, all developed under the supervision of a chef. The food is very well-made, and they have good choices every day. They know what my mom likes for breakfast, so they're sort of customizing it for her, so I thought that was very sweet. They have an activity person who jots out all the activities for the day. They have a movie night, a bingo day, a TV room, and a game room. I think it's a good mix of everything. They were the best price for assisted living I have come across. They were the most affordable, and they have a good package.
