I had a friend once tell me that one of the few joys left when getting older is food. Of course, I think that's true for any age, but this friend was describing the meals at our House. They're "home-cooked and delicious" (his words, not mine). I think the smaller more intimate settings and the good food are important to make the residents feel important and taking care of, like they're part of the family. Plus, apparently the snacks don't hurt either.
