My sister moved to The Oaks at Liberty Grove, an assisted living community. The place is very clean. They're very accommodating in terms of doing laundry and keeping the room clean. The space is good. The rooms come with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a sink in a little kitchen-like area. The closets are large enough. The bathrooms are quite spacious, and the windows give off a lot of light. They also have nice big windows. The staff seem to be quite pleasant and accommodating. I haven't had any trouble with them. They are very accommodating, and if I have an issue, I can go to them, and they don't get upset. They don't act like I'm trying to tell them what their job is. They respond and fix it. Their administrative staff has been accommodating and responsive. They offer quite a bit when it comes to activities, but my sister can't participate in a lot of things because she's not that mobile. They have bingo, and they have about five different areas where you can eat. You can eat in the big cafeteria area, or you can go into a little private room. Then there's another little open space, and you can eat there, too. It's called the cocktail room or something like that. It's like a little bistro area that they have. I can't remember the names of the other two places, but they're in the other parts of the building. Everything is on one level, and they have two beautiful courtyards that are square off in the interior space. The two courtyards are inside a square, and if you go into them, you cannot exit the facility. They are also very nicely and beautifully kept. The food is quite good. My sister has been able to gain weight. Sometimes when you're with Alzheimer's, you lose a lot of weight, but she has gained weight because of their food being quite well planned. They also have snacks. They'll bring her slices of watermelon and things like that, so I do commend the food. The three meals a day were very nutritious, and they're just not sandwiches all the time.

My dad is a resident of The Oaks at Liberty Grove. It's a very nice place. The rooms are nice. They have a lot of activities. It's just expensive for us. The staff has been great. I haven't tried the food, but I've been up there a few times when he has been eating, so it's good. I mean large portions and good food.

My parents will be moving into The Oaks at Liberty Grove. The staff members were very kind, courteous, and very helpful. I know they have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks available throughout the day. The menu changes every week. The facility is very, very clean. It's a fairly new facility and about 45 percent occupied. It was built about three and a half years ago. The common areas are wide, open, beautiful, and very inviting. It's all updated. Their patio was very nice.

If you are looking for a place that will treat you or your loved one like family, I highly suggest this facility. The director Shannon is attentive to all needs and has the resident's best interest at heart. The staff is very respectful and will try and accommodate making you feel right at home. There are too many caregivers to name personally, but they are all the best. There are daily activities to participate in as well as a beautiful decor to look at along with large windows to just sit and look out into the courtyard area. The restaurant style dining is just that, a restaurant. The chef can make you anything on the menu they have to offer or you can choose the special of the day. Food is like homemade and won't disappoint. This was my parent's home for 15 months. I am so glad I chose this facility, I did not have to worry about the care they were given, I would not have changed a thing

My dad is living at The Oaks at Liberty Grove. It is new and the room facilities come in a private 1-bedroom or private studio apartment. The dining facility was new and the location for me is key. They have arts and crafts, an exercise room, games, puzzles, and a library. They're always playing nice music in the hallways. They offer three meals a day. It's more like a restaurant where you have a special of the day, but you can order anything off the menu. It opens in the morning at a certain time and it closes in the evening, so if you want to eat at an off hour, you can do that. They distribute medicine, an in-house doctor comes and visits the patients, and they have a barber shop and beauty salon you can set an appointment for.
