I recently visited my friend’s dad who is a resident of Affectionate Care, as I will have to find a place for my parents in the near future. Right from the start, it felt personal and warm—nothing like a large, impersonal facility. With such a small community, the staff seem to genuinely know each resident, and there was a really good staff-to-resident ratio, which I could see making a real difference in daily care and attention. A couple of things also stood out. The first was their memory care program. They have CALM-certified staff who had evidently taken the time to understand the needs of each of the residents. The other was their dedicated pharmacy services— something I had not seen in other facilities in the area. Having medications managed in-house took a huge burden off my friend, giving the confidence that their dad’s medications would be taken care of. I also had the opportunity to meet the owners. They were both very passionate about offering the highest quality of care and have built something special at Affectionate Care. They both have aging parents and they said it was very important that all their residents were treated with dignity, compassion, and respect, and the families feel supported every step of the way. I left feeling very confident that this would be a great place for my parents.

I recently toured Affectionate Care Memory Facility while searching for the right place for my mom, and I came away truly impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and took the time to walk me through everything in detail. The facility itself was clean, calm, and thoughtfully arranged for residents with memory care needs. What stood out most was the personalized approach to care — it was clear that the team really gets to know each resident, their routines, and what makes them comfortable. I appreciated how patient and transparent everyone was during my visit. They answered all of my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed at all, which made a big difference during such an important decision-making process. Most importantly, I could feel that the residents are treated with genuine compassion and respect. Touring this facility gave me a sense of reassurance and peace of mind that my mom would be in caring, capable hands. I would absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking for a supportive and attentive memory care environment for their loved one.

I will move into Affectionate Care Assisted Living Home. It's new and small. They serve meals, and I ate over there the other day. It was really good. It's a small apartment, and they have several patios.

I toured Affectionate Care Assisted Living Home. It was a great experience. The executive director took the time to explain to us in the guest room the layout of the entire facility. They gave us a rundown of the calendar of activities and the different services that are provided, as far as skilled nursing capabilities as far as medication distribution, and showering. So, we were just given a very good, thorough general scope of the facility before we began the tour to make us aware of what we would see. The staff engaged with the seniors. The tour was very detailed. We were able to see two of the different rooms that they provide. Both of those rooms were very nice and very good upkeep. I love the fact that the facility was very fresh in how it smelled. There were no odors or anything of that nature. The staff was very attentive to the needs of all of the different seniors whom we encountered, providing them with the utmost care. They were enjoying the activities that they were engaged in during the time that we visited. There was laughter. Those who were watching whatever show that they were watching were having a peaceful and good time in the facility. There are plenty of parking spaces. They're safe and open, too.

My mother has Alzheimer’s and post breaking her foot has difficulty walking. The staff at Affectionate Care are loving and treat mom like their on mom. The owners and staff have worked with mom to help her regain her mobility and strength. Everyone there cares for the residents and you can feel the love when you walk in the door. It was blessing when they opened up 10 mins away from our home. We looked at other facilities but none compared to Affectionate Care. It’s been a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them.
