My dad is at Wyndham Court of Plano. It's great so far. Everybody is very kind and helpful. It has been a great experience. The staff has been wonderful. They are very caring people. They only want the best for my dad, which I very much appreciate. My dad is in a one-bedroom-one-bath apartment. It has a living room and a kitchenette. But they have different floor plans. They have different activities, too. They were playing bingo the other day. They have movies, they do scenic drives and things like that.

It was very homey, so when you walk into the building you will feel like you're walking into a home. It was very pleasant. The staff member was the best we've encountered out of all the places we have toured. She took the time, it was an hour and a half with us, to sit down and explain what assisted living was, validated my friend's feelings, and returned statements that he said by saying things like, "I respect that," and "OK, I understand." She made it very clear that he would be independent and he would get to make his choices. The apartments were set up in a more unique way, they weren't a square box, so there were some angles to them, and they were gorgeous. Everything has been remodeled and looked new. We were able to taste their food and it tasted like a home-cooked meal.
