Terra Bella Health and Wellness Suites

My sister chose Terra Bella Health and Wellness Suites for Mom because it's close to her. It's not a bad place, but it's not what I would have picked because it's too far. I want to get my mom close to where I am. I've gone there on good days and I've gone there on bad days. The room is enough for two people. She has a roommate. It has one bathroom, but they have their own closets, dresser, and stuff like that. There's a curtain between them for privacy. They have everything there. They have a beauty shop, dining, and a little church. Sometimes, it's not up-to-date as far as being clean like I want it to be. Other than that, it is a nice place. They have a place for recreation. They have walking trails.

My sister-in-law is a resident of Terra Bella Health and Wellness Suites. They take very good care of her. It's always very nice and clean. She seems to like it. They have a salon there for them. They do have a game room. I've seen them playing bingo. The staff is very friendly. They answered my questions. The facility is very well-kept. The lawn is pretty. She's getting what she is paying for.

My mother was at Terra Bella Health and Wellness Suites. It was OK. The staff was nice. The rooms were nice. It was like a hospital-type situation, even though it's supposed to be where they can move on their own and do the things that they need to do. It was more commercial. They have a therapy area and a hair salon. It was very expensive. Even though they have things available, if you're not able to do it yourself or be mobile, you can't take advantage of anything. For all the money that you're paying, it wasn't worth it. Everybody's in a rush. You can't take advantage of all the amenities that they have because they just don't have the staff available. If you wanted your loved ones to be in a nice, clean facility, and they were mobile and able to utilize the facilities and you had the money to pay for it, it would be a good place. The people in the front were very nice, but the nurses were not nice.
