I like that the staff at The Reserve at Braeswood have worked together in senior care for a long time, not necessarily all, but they seemed very compassionate. I like that the memory care is divided into wings. Each wing has two groups, so their meals are only for 6 or 7 people in one room at a time. So, it's a few small groups for meals, and they had two serving kitchens, one for each group, and they seemed to have ample staff to help. Some of them have been there 18 to 20 years. They're remodeling one of the buildings. As far as the rooms and hallways and everything, they were clean. It's an older place and a little darker than some of the newer ones, but I wouldn't have any complaints about them as far as cleanliness. The carpet is old, and they're gradually replacing all of that.

I toured for my grandma. The room was very clean. You pretty much have to kind of try to decorate it how she's at home so it won't be a drastic change. That's what they told me. The staff explained everything to me.
