My uncle was at Magnolia Manor of Rock Hill. It was awesome. They have excellent care, attention, and cleanliness. I would give it excellent on everything. They were always there for us in terms of communication, whether on the phone or in person. My uncle was only there for a few days before he went to hospice. I have no complaints about anything.

I would not send anyone that I cared about to this facility. My father-in-law was sent here for rehab. Even though he had a stroke and was unsteady on his feet he was allowed to roam without a walker whenever he wanted and fell twice. He received no medical evaluation after those 2 falls. They did not inform us of the first fall, but did about his second fall. 4 times we visited and found him sitting in a soiled bed in the same clothes and brief he was in when we left the day before. Every time my wife visited she spent her time tracking down someone to actually clean him up and had to actually help them clean her father. He was not able to use his hands after the stroke and no one was helping him drink water or eat food. They lost his personal items and clothing. This is just a summary. He did not receive rehab there. He caught covid and no one knew or was giving him medications for his significant symptoms. He eventually had a seizure while there and was taken back to the the hospital and we made sure he did not go back to magnolia.

Recently, I had a family member attend rehab at Magnolia Manor in Rock Hill. The short time she was there, she had several falls, causing her to be sent to the E.R. each time. Also sometime had to be admitted in the hospital for several days. She was at Magnolia for rehab but because of her illness she needed extra attention that the facility could not provide or else she would not have had all those falls. There was no excuse for this to happen. I trusted and expected more from Magnolia and they disappointed me each time. I had her removed for her own safety. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

PLEASE do not choose Magnolia Manor of Rock Hill SC as a place to place your loved one for long term care! I've seen roaches in my mom's room. The nursing staff are not prompt to handle issues at times. I understand they have a list of duties they have to take care of, but it's like when you ask some of them to take care of a concern you have, it's like they're gonna take their sweet time getting around to it, and if you do have a complaint about something that you're concerned about, the nursing staff get an attitude amongst themselves against you and seem to purposely be difficult. I just feel that nursing homes should really scrutinize who they hire. If a person doesn't have a heart for caring for the elderly, they don't need to work there. Any "amenities" that maybe offered at MMRH seem to be low quality, which understandably may be all this facility can afford to offer.

Smells bad upon entering the facility. My family member is in need of better health care. Evidently, they dont pay much attention to their patients. My brother has toe nails that are starting to curve. Told that he's on the list. Podiatrist visits the facility 1x every months. This has gone on for much longer than that

I am a fried of a former resident of Magnolia Manor.he ea there from July 29 till July 31st. He was treated like worse than any human being could possibly be treated, his family and friends saw all of this happen to him. When he decided to leave the place he was informed he would not be assited with a wheel chair . he was a amputee mind you. That certainly not humane. He wasn,t given his medication while he was in there. He is a diabetic and wasnt given his insulin either..He had a friend who had to pick him up and had to supply him with a wheel chair of his own because they wouldnt even supply him with a wheel chair. I have never seen anyone treated so bad in my life of 60 years. Dont recomend this place to anyone.. They did give him 1 shot of lomg acting insulin before he left the place and the nurse commented i dont know where the insulin came from he got because they had been borrowing from another resident. They also sent him home without any medication he was suppose to be taking.Bye the way the food was terrible.I seen a picture of the food it looked degusting.. The place was the nastiest place ive ever seen to be rehab center.Thats all folks check it out for your self!!!.

This place needs to be shut down. My grandmother received left overs from the previous day for dinner and most of the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. They all acted like they hated their jobs. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Even the administration was unhelpful at all times never returned any phone calls. The only good part of this facility is the therapists they were amazing.

My mother was recently in this facility for physical therapy / rehab. When I visited her she had been there 11 days and was basically taking care of herself. She had stitches / wound that was covered by a bandage that was not checked for 14 days. The place was very old and depressing. The bedding was dull and nothing seemed really clean. It may have been but it did not look or smell clean. The staff seem to wear whatever they want and definitely do not look professional. The people seemed nice and my mother said the food was good but I question the management that would allow the place to be so run down. My mother was placed in a room with another patient who had dementia and incontinence as well as would make a mess in the bathroom. My mother had to live with this person and the smell for several days until she finally checked herself out. The staff was not quick to respond and I question why they would have put my mother (hip injury) in the same room with a person who was much worse off. There was no one there for my mother to even talk to due to their conditions. The physical therapists were good. I just hate to think of the people that actually are residents there. It was just so depressing to me. The management needs to step up to the plate and update this place and also provide more training for the staff as well as probabaly put in some sort of dress code.

The care my mother received here was really great! Rehab provided excellent therapy and assisted us in transitioning back to home. The staff was very friendly and professional and included my mother in any healthcare decisions. The staff was very informative about her care that she recieved. It was a very friendly and clean facility. I felt comfort in knowing that my mother would receive good care from the time of admission. She was very pleased with her stay and treatment while there. After discharge, a nice nurse would call and check on my mothers progress. Over all very pleased with this facilty and staff.

My mom went in for rehab. She was at Magnolia Manor. It was a good place. I thought that they did excellent with her. The staff was very friendly. They had a good rehab facility. I was very satisfied with it. My mom was in a private room, and it was very nice. The food and the menu were very good too. I would have been very satisfied with this facility myself. Overall, they were very cooperative and very professional. It was a positive experience.

Magnolia Manor is one of the older nursing homes in the community. My loved one has been there for several years. the nursing staff is very friendly and personable. They have created a family like environment. My mother loves this facility. They offer activities of her liking and she gets to go on outings. Her favorite outing was to the zoo!! The nursing managers take the time to inform me of what is going on with my mother and answer any questions I have regarding her care or her medicine. I have had my mother at other places in the area, and yes they look nice and fancy but their care was horrible. This is a classic example of " not judging a book by its cover".

This is an Very good Place. The people there are Really nice. It might not be the newest place but they sure treated us good. Looks of a building have nothing to do with the people. We had a special friend at Magnolia Manor. We visited almost every day. The staff there were considerate, respectful, and treated him really good. It was clean and the food was really good. The therapy people were really good. He was there for about 2 months and I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place is not the place to choose for your loved one. Most people put their relatives here only because of little finances. The first time I visited my grandmother here was this summer and the smell reeked of urine from the time I entered the door to her bedroom. My first thought was that this was unusal, as a nursing facility should be kept clean and staffed with employees who care. Sadly, I was wrong. My parents visited my grandmother more regularly and each time they stated the smell of the facility got worse, like every resident their had either defecated, vomited or urinated on themselves and they had been left there to sit in it so extended periods of time. There is no way a place like this...for profit, should allow this to go on. Since being there, my grandmother has been given medication she didnt need to keep her quiet and very sleepy, so she can not communicate her thoughts. She doesnt even respond most times just sits and looks out in space. Since being given medication she had suffered multiple strokes with the last one causing her to get worse to the point she needs to go to hospice now. I'm dissatisfied with the service of this facility and wish this place was closed down. Please do not place your loved one here if you expect that they will be cared for. These people do not care about their residents, but look to fill the next bed. The inept staff should be fired and get people there that will clean the facility and take care of the residents with dignity and grace. This place is only getting a star because its required, but they do not deserve any.

My husband was in Magnolia Manor for three weeks for a short-term rehab. I didn't choose this facility; it was chosen for me. That place was not clean. It didn't have a clean smell to it. When you walk in the door, you would smell feces and urine and it was very bad. My husband was incontinent so he has to wear a diaper. However, when he was discharged, I noticed that he didn't have a diaper on. Also because he was going out the next day, they didn't bother to do three bags of laundry for him. My dad had a semi-private back then and he had a roommate that wasn't able to get up. The nursing staff totally ignored this person and left him dirty 24 hours. This place ignores their patients and they keep them dirty for long periods of time; this is something they can improve on. It would be a lot better if they have a staff that really cares about their patients.

My mom stayed at Magnolia Manor before she passed. It's not a good place. It was clean, but it's not the type of facility that I would go back to. They need to increase their staff and hire people who care about the seniors in their nursing facility. Some of the staff was really good, but the rest of them were horrible.

Magnolia in Rock Hill is one of the worst Health Care Porvider ever. My mother was in the hospital and they placed her there. My mother suffered several unanswered injuries from this place. I witness neglect of patience. Most of the staff was there just for a check. After I moved my mother I realized just how sorry this Nursing Home was. I had no clue as to the kind of care a nursing home was suppose to provide until I moved her to another facilty. Magnolia did not keep her clean. They always made excuses. After my expereince with Magnolia I wouldn't put my dog in there for care. I am giving it one star but the truth is it doesn't deserve it.

Magnolia Manor is a relatively inexpensive for profit nursing facility that does accept Medicaid. For financial reasons and also due to mom's deteriorating health we moved her to Magnolia Manor. At this point mom was sleeping all the time and her knee had frozen up with arthritis. Immediately, upon entry the staff of Magnolia Manor diagnosed mom as dehydrated and put an IV in her arm. This caused mom to perk up appreciably. The staff also did what they call a "body inventory" and discovered a hard cyst in her buttocks. This was remedied by changing her mattress for an air mattress. In many ways I found the care that mom received at Magnolia to be the best of all the facilities mom was in. The staff at Magnolia was very pro-active. I could not say that about the other facilities. The only drawback about Magnolia was that the food was not very appetizing and I found it difficult to get mom to eat it.
