We toured Chandler Place Assisted Living and Memory Care. The facility itself was nice. It was the staff that was not good. They're very condescending. They gave me the wrong price. Their communication was horrible. The services and amenities were very nice. We wanted my father there, but the staff, especially the salesperson, gave us the wrong rate for the room. He didn't give us a lot of information. He didn't tell us that there was a service fee of $3,300. They wanted to charge an extra night in August when my father wasn't even moving in till September. They showed us the wrong room and gave us the wrong room. It was $1,400 more. It was not in my father's budget.

I toured Chandler Place Assisted Living and Memory Care. I liked that it was clean, and it was a small community. There are only about 40 residents. The community layout was nice because it was in a square or circle-type formation so that the residents can walk, they can easily get from one place to another and not get confused. The rooms are what was my drawback because they are simply just a room. They're not an apartment. They don't have a kitchenette. You can't have a living room and a bedroom. It's even smaller than just a studio because it had less than other places with studios. Heather was the one who showed me around, and she was very pleasant and very informative. I enjoyed speaking with her. She was cognizant of my time because she knew I had another appointment after that one. And so she was very kind with that. She introduced me to the physical therapist, who was very pleasant.

My mom will be moving into Chandler Place Assisted Living and Memory Care. The sales and marketing director, Kelly, is fantastic at her job. They have long-term care here. She was able to navigate that with me a lot better than anyone else. She asks better questions on intake, very thought-provoking questions about Mom's long-term care, and how we initially get started. I can't say enough good things about Kelly. The facility was clean. Everything just gave me a really warm and pleasant feeling. I met the chef and he was very personable. He was interested in fine-tuning meals. The facility smells very pleasant. The residents all look very happy. They have a library and a room where they watch TV. I saw the shuttle services bring in people from an outing where they went to a local pizzeria. I was able to see that they could have all different levels of activities for their residents.

Chandler Place Assisted Living and Memory Care was really nice. It was beautiful. The furnishings in the common room were modern. They had several of these rooms where you could just sit and be quiet. I liked that. It was nice and pretty. They had a room that you would have to share with somebody. I thought it was too small, but the other room where you could shut your bedroom door was beautiful and great. The staff was really nice. The woman who showed me around, and everybody, was good. They all got along together. They had great amenities. Their dialysis was right across the road. They had a salon, dining areas, and they would go out to eat every week as a group.

Chandler Place Assisted Living and Memory Care was nice and clean, and I liked it. It was very quaint, but everybody appeared to be very happy there. The rooms were very nice and had a very good size. I did look at all of the different rooms that they had to offer. The staff who assisted me during the tour was knowledgeable. The dining room was very small and quaint. The outdoor space was well-kept. They had games for the residents, and there were different areas for them to be able to watch TV.

We toured Chandler Place Assisted Living and Memory Care. The building seemed a little bit newer, in my opinion, but the rooms were smaller. They didn't have the same type of amenities as the other place. One of the staff members was actually pretty rude when we entered it. We went into the wrong side. She directed us to the other side, where the person that we met with was very, very helpful and nice. Our first experience when we entered there, the person was just really rude. It's not for us. I'm sure that the one person was just an isolated incident. Maybe we just encountered her at a very difficult time or whatever. Overall, the rest of the staff was very nice. They had an outbreak of COVID, so there was a lot of isolated areas. We didn't really get to tour a whole lot for our safety. However, based on my dad's reaction, he didn't seem comfortable. He just didn't connect with the space. The one employee that we toured with was very lovely. She was very nice to work with, but we didn't meet anybody else.

I moved my sister to Chandler Place Assisted Living & Memory Care from their independent living. They shoved her in the corner and couldn't care less. Even their med techs are all messed up, they need to get their crap together down there. I found some of her pills under the bed, meaning the med techs weren't waiting until she finished her pills, which would explain a lot why she was acting the way she was because she wasn't getting her meds right. The facility is updated, and there's nothing else I like about the place. I'd asked for several things to be done like her toilet was loose and they didn't fix that. She didn't have Wi-Fi on her TV, they were supposed to fix that and they didn't fix that. Everything they said they would do, they didn't do. And again, they didn't make sure that she was taking her meds correctly. They need to improve on everything. Some of the workers were mean, they just didn't care about her. They need workers that want to be there. They have activities, but they didn't do a good job in coming to get her for them or reminding her. They would remind her when it's time to eat, but not for activities. They had a salon, they had laundry available, they had ministry services, bingo, games, and crafts.

We toured Chandler Place Assisted Living and Memory Care. It was great. It was a good experience. The staff was very, very helpful. She kind of related to us because she's got a father in his 80s and I think she said he is getting close to where he might be assisted living, too. So, she could kind of associate with us, and we can associate with her. The place was very nice. It was very small. My father would end up having a room by himself, and then we think we can afford it. It's going to be a little bit tight, but we think we can afford it if he has to go there. It is in a peaceful location in a neighborhood. The other elderly people that are staying there seemed very pleasant and it seemed like they're very happy. It's a very clean and nice place. The rooms are very nice. They have a walk-in shower and a nice bathroom. They got plenty of other amenities. They got a library and a gathering room. If you want to have some kind of gathering, it is free of charge. It was a very good experience.

They were very friendly at Chandler Place. It's a very nice facility. I don't really have anything that I would say negative, other than the rooms. The rooms were rather small in the memory care unit. I saw some people eating the food, and the food looked very good. I saw no amenities in the memory care unit, but the main facility had plenty of additional rooms.

My experience at Chandler Place was wonderful. We met with Amy and she was very helpful. You could tell immediately that for her, it is not just a job or a career, but it is more of a calling, and she really does operate with a great sense of care. Even though we decided not to move on with that facility, she was even helpful in helping us develop a solution, so she went above and beyond what I would consider her call of duty there. For that reason, if I had a chance to recommend someone who could afford to put a family member in that facility, I would highly recommend it. The facility itself was very clean, it had no smell, and they also had a great COVID protocol as well. It is centrally located in Rocky Hill and it is very close to family members. They have walking trails, multiple activity rooms, a meditation room, and a very large canteen and kitchen area.

I liked the professionalism of the people. I would recommend them to anybody. They were very friendly and very helpful. The clients all seemed very happy, friendly, and seemed to be enjoying themselves. The place was clean. It was great; it was beautiful. My mother has problems with carpal tunnel and arthritis in her right hand and she has problems with her hip. She would not be able to get herself to and from the cafeteria with any ease; however, by state law, they can't serve the meals in the room.

It is very nice. We wanted to continue seeing it, so it has a very nice lobby. The staff was very nice, very helpful, and gave all the information that we possibly need. That was the big thing because the apartment is small. The size would be good for a single person, but for us it would be kind of small. We did look around, and they have rooms for all kinds of activities for crafts and reading. It is good because they seem to have a lot of rooms. We went to the dining room, and it has a nice dining area. It is very bright and pleasant.

The staff here was very helpful, and they did show me some rooms. I found that the apartments were kind of small. The dining room is very nice though. They didn't have their own swimming pool which is something I was really looking for. They have some standard activities but not as much as the other facility I visited. They are not as active.

It was a lot older, and it was farther away, but we prefer really to have something in North Carolina because my mother-in-law lives there and all of her state benefits are in there. Everything was very nice, and all the staff was very nice. It cut down to closeness and availability, so we picked the one that was closest to us, but it was very nice too. They do have a few exercise machines and physical therapy stuff there.

It was a very nice and clean facility. The people were helpful as well as the residents. We were interested in a private room, so that was what we saw and it was big enough. The activities that they have include games, they go out to dinners, and tours around town. I haven’t eaten there, but I saw their menu. It looked nice, and they have different choices.

I'm supposed to be moving in Monday. I'm legally blind. My son does all the work for me. He's the one who put me in there. I have walked in there one time. He said that it's nice. I have 2 friends who stay over there. It seems all right. My friend says she plays bingo about every 2 days. They have apartments and they have semi-private rooms. The regular room is just a room by itself.

The staff was good. I ate there and food was also good. However, the living space there was too small. I would recommend this place for somebody who doesn't have a family and who lives by themselves.

It is a great facility and I like them. When I visited the place, the staff are really nice and the residents seemed content. I like that the place is open and everything is right there altogether. The rooms were really nice, but the prices are a little bit expensive.

It had nicer and beautiful facilities than the other places I visited but the ambience was sterilizing cold. The attitude of the people and the interaction was like housing individuals, there was no life in there.

The staff is very attentive and caring. They have a lot of activities. They take them to the mountain, bible study and bingo. The food is good. The rooms are nice. The community is clean. The staff is very friendly and I would recommend them to others.
