My mom is staying at Seaton Springwood. I like the fact that they really take care of her, and they're very personable with her. They are clean, nice, and very caring. They make sure she has what she needs. They call me and tell me what's going on with her. If they take Medicaid that would be incredible, but right now they don't. My mother likes the food, so that's a plus. The memory care unit is clean. They have movies, bingo, exercise, and a dance class. They had a lot going on. The price is definitely well worth it.

My husband was a resident of Seaton Springwood. It appears to be very nice. There were times when there was no one there that could help him. He had dementia, Alzheimer's, and Lewy body. So he had a lot of issues that he needed help with. They had a library. He had a nice-sized apartment. Everything was modern and all that, but they just did not do their job. The staff, some of them were nice and good and other ones weren't. The food and meals were great. For the value, it was not reasonable at all.

We liked Seaton Springwood because it is close to us and there are places for my sister-in-law to walk there. She is very mobile and loves to walk. It's near a lot of different things, so she can walk to go shopping if she wants to. Their rooms felt very much like a hotel rooms. It is very clean and there's lots of nice sunlight coming in. They furnished her room for us, which was nice. She has a wardrobe and the bathrooms are big and open, not cramped at all. Everything is very clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a lot of activities for them, such as a movie night and bus trips. It's well kept up. I am impressed. My husband said he is very pleased with everything, too.

Seaton Springwood was very clean. I was very impressed. I liked the room. It was very clean. I stayed for lunch and I was impressed with the nice lunch they had. They have lovely sitting rooms where you can go and sit quietly and they also have a little place to if you want maybe mid-morning or late afternoon coffee or tea, make on your own. Everybody was very friendly. There was no odor. I was impressed with that. They had a beautiful dining room. It was a barn converted and it was beautiful. They decorated the tree in all seasons there, Christmas, Halloween, and Easter. The staff during the tour was wonderful. The food was very good. I would recommend it. There were a lot of seniors walking around and with seniors, there was always an odor, but there was none at all. Everything was wonderful. I liked it very much.

My grandmother was in rehab and we were looking for places for her to go as she could no longer live on our own. The case worker provided a list of places for her to go. All of the facilities had to evaluate her to determine she was able to be in assisted living. We received all feedback that she could not be in assisted living due to her needs however Seaton accepted her. I paid a community fee of $1980. She was transferred from rehab to Seaton for not even 24 hours before having to go back to the hospital for health issues. They now have lost her medication or won't give it back and personal belonging. No one will call us back about that. Then they will refund my initial money and are making me pay for 5 days even though she was in their care for less than 24 hours. Beware of what contracts you sign and 100% make sure you hear from other places before deciding on this place due to the fact they didn't thoroughly check my grandmother out compared to other assisted living places.

We toured and the overall facilities were fine, but the person that gave us a tour felt like a used car salesman. There was a lot of pressure. One of the rooms that we were shown was actually a corner room, so it had two windows facing two different directions, which was beautiful. It was a beautiful room, but what really turned me off was the way the tour guide or the marketing person made me wonder what the rest of the whole thing was. I felt pressured. They said if we wanted that room we needed to commit by tomorrow. That just turned me off to the whole thing. I left there feeling very, very pressured to commit, and this is not something that I'm going to sign on the dotted line when I'm approached about going there. Their dining room was fabulous. It was actually an old barn, and it had been renovated, so it had the old barn beams on it. It was a beautiful, beautiful dining room. The tour really, really turned me off. It kind of made me feel, "Does this continue with all the staff?" Not the nursing staff, but the administrative staff. Are they always pressured to do this or do that? And that's something I do not like, being pressured. The facilities were beautiful. However, the whole decor and everything, I think, was kind of over the top. It was more than what my father is used to. He is used to more simple settings. As I said, the dining room was absolutely beautiful, but to me, that's more frills than anything. It's just more than what my dad is used to, and he probably wouldn't feel comfortable there. The person who gave me the tour was a very knowledgeable lady.

We liked the way how it was set up from what we saw. They showed us a private room with assisted living and the dementia area. They looked clean, spacious, and some of them looked like hotel rooms. They had shown the dining area, which was nice. It was all very clean. The staff was very nice. I didn't smell any urine, odor, or anything. I used to smell that when I would go into nursing homes.

I visited and it's a beautiful place. When you walk in, the brightness, the cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff is overwhelming. They bend over backwards and make you feel welcome. The different places, and the dining room were so beautiful. They showed me the menu, and there's no doubt that the food would be good. They're so friendly and outgoing. My only concern was the walking area outside; there's not a lot of room. They had a TV room, an area for fresh coffee and cookies, an exercise room, and washing facilities.

Everything here is good and more than satisfactory. The meals are fairly good. They're very clean and take care of things. They give my mother a bath or shower and keep her fairly clean and hygienic. I don't have any complaints. The people are great and nice. My mother's room is nice and has air-conditioning. All in all, it's pretty good.

It was excellent. They have much nicer people who were willing to work with us than the other facilities. Their rooms were much brighter and so as their hallway which was also wider and they do have a memory care faciilty.
