I live in Hershey's Mill Villages & Golf Club 55+ Active Adult Community. It used to be a big private estate. When the owners died, they sold it to builders. And the builders have over the years built 1700 homes on that ground. It's divided into 26 individual villages. Each village has its own government, which is overseen by Hershey's golf club. We get snow removal and all the landscaping as part of living here. We pay quarterly for our houses. It's like owning your own house. The house comes in different sizes. My house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a full basement, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a laundry room, and a detached garage. We have all kinds of activities. There's a community swimming pool, they do tennis, pickleball, and hiking. There are lots of walking trails, people walk all the time. You can have as many pets as you want. We cook our own meals, but we can eat at the clubhouse and the food is very good.
