I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband has been in Mt. Assisi Place for several weeks now. It sits on a beautiful piece of property. It's very peaceful and has many trees. When the weather's nice, they plant a lot of flowers. There are several places for the residents to sit outside. The rooms are all private. It's a Catholic facility, so there is a chapel where they have mass. There is actually a school on the grounds, which is delightful to watch the kids run around during recess. Two buildings house the residents. They have a very nice activity room and a very nice dining room that opens onto a really nice patio. Everyone that I have met so far has been extremely friendly and professional. They treat the residents with respect. I speak highly of them. They're all very kind. They have bingo, exercise class, and a couple of other games. They have Bible classes. The food is good. We were just there on Easter for brunch, and it was good. My husband doesn't complain. They have a menu, a daily special, and then an alternative if it's something you don't like. I think everything is above average.

I visited this facility

The rooms were very small at Marian Hall Home. The facility is nice as well as the staff. The dining room was very pleasant, and the atmosphere was very nice. It was set up buffet style.

I visited this facility

The most recent one that I visited was Marian Hall. It was very clean, it was a small facility, and I was very impressed. It is a Catholic facility, and I don't know if that makes any difference or not. It had a chapel, and it had activities for the residents, but most of the residents there would need little care; they would be mostly independent. The staff was excellent. They sat down with us and explained things to us, they showed us the rooms, and they told us that we could bring my sister's furniture. They were extremely accommodating. We would have loved it if my sister could have gone there, but she is a large woman and she needed more care than they could offer. Also, her wheelchair would have been too big.
