My mom stayed at Legend at Silver Creek for two weeks. I like everything there. I was very impressed. It's a gorgeous facility. All the staff I met were great and very caring, so I was very happy with it. My mom's living space was pretty. I was expecting a smaller place with her going into a single because she came from a two-bedroom apartment. But her apartment at Legend at Silver Creek was not huge, but it was spacious. It was enough for her to have a dresser, a single bed, a loveseat, and a recliner rocking chair in there. We hung pictures on the walls and stuff, and it looked homey once we got it all fixed up. There's a lot of a lot of closet space, and the bathrooms were huge. They had an open house, and I had dinner there, and I thought the food was very good. My mom was on a special diet so she wouldn't have eaten everything that everybody else ate. So that from that one meal that I had, it was good. With regard to activities, they kept my mom pretty busy. Where she came from, they would maybe do 1 or 2 activities a day, but at Legend, they did like 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. She told me that 'It's just too much,' so I told them, 'Maybe you need to work her into all these activities and give her a little time to rest.'

I toured Legend at Silver Creek. I liked the feel of the vibe. It had a good vibe. It wasn't so big that you felt lost. There was a feeling of community. It's relatively new, so that always makes you feel better and it just feels like some place you'd want to move to. This lady was extremely thorough, and she's ready to fight maybe for different reasons, but I certainly don't think she rushed us through there.

I liked Legend at Silver Creek. They had everything. The rooms were laid out nicely and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the staff that I met on the tour. It was just lovely. They had a game room with tables that the family could go to and sit and put puzzles or play cards. They had a theater, which was beautiful, nice, and big. It held a decent amount of people. They had a room where they were doing something with March Madness. They had a bistro, which was very nice. They offered soup, sandwiches, coffee, tea, and whatever to drink that was free. Their dining room was beautiful. That is a showcase. I loved everyone there. Everyone was so nice. I liked that.

I toured Legend at Silver Creek. I like the programs that they have available to individuals in memory care. A lot of outdoor-oriented programs for those who like to do a lot of potted plants and everything like that. They also offered some things like puzzles and whatnot, a lot of community-type programs to have everybody kind of gather; they have a nice little area for it. It's a newer facility. What I liked is that it had a lot of the newer technologies available to the residents. They had huge ceilings. If you bring in your items, they have to let the facilities hang them up, because they can only put them up to a certain space, so they do all the work in terms of putting everything together. It's completely gorgeous, well-painted rooms. The huge ceilings make the room more spacious. The bathrooms are honestly in terrific shape, showers are nice walk-ins. It was a pretty decent room. The staff was good. It was Stacey that we worked with.
