My friend is in RoseCrest and it's a very nice facility with very caring people. It is very clean, and they have a lot of activities. They really do try hard to make it as comfortable as possible for the people there. The apartments are nice sized. Each private room has a small kitchen area with a stove, sink and a private bathroom with a shower and a living area with a space for a bed, a couch, a chair and a TV. The people that I had met have been very friendly, gracious, seemed very interested in the people who are living there, and they try to create friendships with the people that are living there. They don't come across that's strictly staff but more like friends. They play games, trivia, small exercise programs, and different things depending on different holidays that are coming up. They recently had a beach party and they do different themed events periodically throughout the year. The only reason I would not give it a 5 is because everyone is at varying levels there as far as their Alzheimer's or dementia. They should organize the people there to those who have the initial stages of dementia to those who are more extensive, but they do try to do that. It's a small size, and there's a low ratio of patient to staff.
