We have found Bellarose and my brother has moved in, and he's quite happy. So far, it's been great. They've been very welcoming and he likes the improved level of food that he's getting there. We have him hooked up with a doctor who will see him there, so he doesn't have to go. And he's getting physical therapy there. So, it's been a very good experience. They have a saltwater swimming pool. They have a spa that's open all year long. They have a beautiful exercise room where you can have physical therapy. They have all of the activities he enjoys, like bingo and whatnot. The people there have been just very, very nice to him. And since he has autism, that's an important thing that he feels accepted. The food has been amazing. The level of food is much better than what he had. It was much more nutritious, and not as heavy on fat and fried food. So, it's been excellent, but there's always room for improvement on the food. The place looks brand new, even though it's not. Their maintenance on the building is amazing, and the cleanliness of the place couldn't be better.

I visited Bellarose. Carolyn did an excellent job. She's a very sweet woman. She showed me where the tornado shelter was, where the main dining was upstairs, and where the assisted living and everything was. The main thing that I was going to look at was the memory care. We went and looked at that and saw some of the patients and a couple of the nurses there who showed me the rooms and explained everything to me. She overall did an excellent job. It looked very nice, very upscale, very clean, bright, airy, and spread out. It's a very big place. They have five different wings. It's excellent.

Bellarose was a very large place. They kept the memory care separate from the area of the building. The facility was very beautiful, but it didn't have a fresh smell. It smelled more like a hospital. The memory care room setup was OK. The person that did the tour was dedicated, and she seemed to like what she was doing. She greeted a couple of residents and talked to them. She was very informative and I liked her a lot.

Bellarose is a fairly new facility. We looked at the villas and the whole complex and also had lunch there. It looked very nice from what we were looking at when we were going through the tour. It was quite an interesting tour. We met someone, when we were eating lunch, that lived there. He was living in one of the villas, and all of those were occupied. So, we weren't able to see one with the tour guide, but he was nice enough to take us and show us his villa, which was very nice. They were very open and friendly there too. It's just not as close to where my friend wants to be. The dining area was open and airy. It had very high ceilings. The whole building is fairly new, so it was very nicely done. They had a pool and different recreational things. They have a beauty salon and there are several patios in and around.

We went and toured Bellarose for my mother, and the things I liked the most were the variety of activities for the people there. I also liked the friendliness of the people, and that they accommodate their various needs, so that was wonderful. They had a swimming pool, they had art classes, and they had exercise. They had things to participate in, and activities just to view, like they had groups coming in just for the participants there to enjoy. They had a singing group there that was singing for the enjoyment of their patrons that day. As far as I could tell, the staff were attentive. The people that attended to us were very conscientious and answered our questions. The staff who assisted me was wonderful. Cleanliness of the facility was good, too. It had a funky odor, and I think it's from the cleaning products they used, which kind of bothered me at first. But the longer you're in a place, the less you notice it. I totally noticed that going in, but that odor means they're cleaning it. I managed a preschool for 20 years, and I know the ins and outs of stuff like that, so at least I know they're cleaning it.

Bellarose was a newer building. It was a beautiful place, like a 5-star hotel. The lady that gave me the tour was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very nice. The dining area looked beautiful and looked like a restaurant. There were a number of residents doing different activities. There was one group in a cooking class or observing a cooking demonstration. There was a bible study going on. There was another group playing some sort of game.

I was very impressed with Bellarose. It was very nice. They had workout rooms, a theater, a WiFi room, a room where you can play pool, a place to go if the storm came, and a beautiful dining room, and they encourage their clients to at least have dinner there. It had flowers and all that. The lady that gave me the tour was nice. They had a baby grand.

Bellarose was outstanding. It's just the location that I didn't care for. It's a little bit further than I wanted to go, but the staff was great. The residents were engaged, the place was beautiful, and the rooms were nice. The lady gave me a lot of information and showed me all of their amenities. It was a top-notch place. One of the residents invited us to see her apartment and she was very friendly and open, and just shared about how lovely the place was. Then another lady came up, spoke with us, and also said that it is a lovely place and that she enjoys it. So, it was nice to hear that they're happy and at home. That was very impressive to me. They have a room with a theater in it that memory care folks use about once a week to watch old movies. They have a saltwater pool that's accessible for memory care residents as well. They have lovely common areas, too. Plus, there's a dining hall that we could use if we wanted to do private family events.

We toured Bellarose. It was fabulous, it was above and beyond anything else I've seen. It was better than a five-star hotel. It was gorgeous. They had beautiful chandeliers and the dining area had beautiful linens on the table, china, and crystal goblets for their drinks. The food looked impeccable. The people serving it were like top-notch waiters. The decor was beautiful antiques, and it was just gorgeous. It was much bigger than the other place, and the rooms she showed us were one of the rooms in the assisted living area where my mother would be, and it was beautiful. It had a little sitting area with couches and chairs and a TV. It had a beautiful queen-sized bed with a nightstand and a lamp. And it is beautifully decorated, very clean, with no odors. The bathroom was tiled, clean, and up to date. Latest fixtures. It had a small kitchenette. It had a small refrigerator, but it was not a hotel-type refrigerator. It had a sink and a microwave. The outdoor area was fabulous. It had an Olympic size swimming pool with a waterfall. It had beautiful patio tables and chairs and seating, and the garden area was lush with all kinds of beautiful plants. They had multiple seating areas, they had two or three different courtyard areas. They had a movie theater. Mm theater seating. They had a pub and bar with games that you could play at the tables. The cost was only $250 a day as compared to the other place we went to was $200 a day. And for $50 more a day, you just got anything you wanted. It was just amazing. The woman that gave us a tour was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very patient. She told a few jokes and made us laugh. She was great.

I went to Bellarose. They showed us everything. It was a gorgeous place. The memory care was our least favorite part of it. The memory care was a little bit in need of some cleaning. The rest of it looked like a fancy hotel. The memory care part looked like it had more wear and tear. The facility was so big. It seemed like it took forever to get to that part of it because they showed everything else to us first. They were very nice and very helpful. Everything was so nice; but when you go to memory care, it's like two different places. We did not try any food, but their dining area at the main place was very nice. It was a fine dining experience. There were flowers and linen tablecloths. However at memory care, it was just basically more of an open little space. It was a lot smaller scale and a lot less attention to the decor and decorations. The assisted living there was very nice, but I would not rate the memory care as high. They had a lot there. They had a swimming pool that was fancy, and you could bring your grandkids to swim. They had a movie theater. From my understanding, you could participate in everything. It has everything from independent cottages to memory care. The staff during the tour was very good. It was overwhelming because it's such a large community. We ruled it out because we did not like the memory care. The location of the memory care was in the back of the huge unit. If you were outside your little space in memory care, it was overwhelming.

I toured Bellarose. To me, it was a number 1. It was wonderful. They have it all. They have games. They have things for people to do. They have bus transportation for their doctor's appointments or for going to the stores. They have everything a person would want. The community layout is wonderful.

I loved Bellarose. They have everything that my dad would need. Every person that I saw there seemed pretty happy. A lady was playing the piano and was just enjoying herself. The place was nice and very clean. It was excellent. The lady gave me a great tour of their memory care. She seemed to know a lot about the facility. The staff were all friendly with each other and with all of the guests.

We toured Bellarose, it was beautiful and the people were friendly. They didn't talk to us too much about the care that they give. It was more about looking at our pretty place and not really about the care that my dad would receive. They had a heated saltwater pool, which I thought was interesting. They had a grand staircase in the middle, they had a beautiful fireplace and it was gorgeous. The rooms were nice, they already had built-in shower seats. The rooms were a decent size like the others I've seen.

Thank you Chris for your review. We hope to get to know you and your loved one soon at Bellarose.

We found Bellarose for my aunt and uncle and we moved my aunt there yesterday. It's in Tulsa and they're in assisted living. The community's layout is very nice. I think they're going to like it. The staff is really good too. Their room is nice. We were able to get everything in there. The one-bedroom that we got them into could accommodate a king-size bed. They have a kitchenette with a refrigerator and we brought over their microwave. There's a big walk-in closet and lots of light. My aunt was excited about all the lighting. It was very roomy for a 1-bedroom. There's going to be only two people, my aunt, and uncle, in there. They let them move in over the weekend, but they're officially already there today. They haven't even tried the food yet. My uncle is still in rehab but he'll be in there today. My aunt got to spend the last two nights there because we already got her bed in. Their dining area is very nice. The community is very nice and clean. It has lots of little areas for people to visit with each other there. I saw there's a little room where people sit to play games. There's a little library and a piano which residents could play. It's just very nice. They have a room where people gather and play games like card games. I saw people set up with puzzles and stuff like that too. They provide a laundry service for an extra charge, but the residents can also use the laundry room.

We chose Bellarose at first, but mom's diabetes care was too extensive that they couldn't manage it, so we didn't end up going in there. It was a nice facility, and it was bigger than the other place. They had a lot of really nice amenities as far as they had a saltwater pool for them. It was very nice and elegant. The only negative I have to say about Bellarose is this guy that did my tour and kind of gave me information about the facility. He didn't disclose everything at first. I visited another place and they said they had this type of fee. I called Bellarose back to find out if they had a similar fee, and they did, but he had never disclosed it. The facility itself was nice, but I would almost equate the guy to a used car salesman. He was not forthcoming with a lot of information, just basic information. To me, you need to disclose everything, not just parts you want them to hear.

I'm at Bellarose. It's very nice, it's very clean, they have a good location, and it's close to all kinds of shopping. It's beautiful; it looks like an upgraded hotel. The concierges are nice and housekeeping's nice. They have outings where they go out to eat or see and do different things, and they always have something going on, either in the pub or in the downstairs where they play all kinds of games. They have guest speakers, guests, and musicians, and they show movies. It's dog friendly too. There's never a dull moment if you wish to participate. The food is great. They have a very good menu with a good variety of food -- and it's always good. They have the largest apartments of any facility that I've seen. It has a place for a washer and dryer, and it has a gas stove, a refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher, and large closets.

My dad moved into Bellarose Senior Living this week. I felt very much at home with the salesperson, who gave me the tour. She introduced me to the rest of the staffe and they were very friendly too. They showed me the menu, and I thought it was really good. It said 'chef selected.' My dad had primarily been eating fast food, so it looked like there were a lot of options. If you did not like the meal for the day, there were also chef's alternatives, which were good. The facility is very beautiful. It has sitting areas and game rooms. It is very well upscaled and decorated. The rooms were very nice for seniors to downsize to. He got a one bedroom apartment with a nice and spacious bathroom where he could sit down and take a shower. Unlike other facilities where you have to step over the edge of the bathtub, you could just roll right in there because it is very large. It had a walk-in closet and a very nice layout. The facility is just three years old, so it is new and does not look worn at all. One thing they do not have is a continuum of care to skilled nursing. So if he got to that point, then we would have to find another facility. They do have memory care though.

Bellarose is a very nice place. We have our washer and dryer in the unit, and that was really important to me. Everything is really nice, and we love the people here. The food is good, and while it may not be as good as we would like it to be, we understand there are some reasons, and it has something to do with COVID. They said a year ago the food was wonderful. We have bridge, bingo, pinochle, Rummikub, and all kinds of games all day long. It's very clean and beautiful. We have a full kitchen if you want a full kitchen. The staff is wonderful, and there is a lot to do.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father-in-law is in Bellarose, and he's currently on hospice. He has a very nice single room studio type apartment. He's enthralled with the staff that has taken very good care of him. Since March, we haven't been able to go visit him, but they stay in contact with us fairly regularly to keep us posted that he's okay. We replenish the things he needs such as his candy, his Coca-Cola, his laundry soap, and personal hygiene items. He's kind of immobile. He's basically in a wheelchair, and needs help to get up and get down, get into bed and into the shower, and things like that. We have eaten out there, and the food was very good, and they had a nice selection. They also had a good selection of non-menu items like the grilled cheese, and things like that. Their menu changes on a daily basis, and it all tasted very good. However, it's confusing which door to go in for independent living, and which door to go into for assisted living. Family members who would be having a family gathering or something like that, would get basically lost in the building because the independent living entrance faces the 51st Street, and the assisted living faces East so it's much harder to locate the assisted living entrance. They're extremely reasonable for what they provide in the way of service and care. The activities they offered are not bad, but not good either.

Bellarose was too pompous, too ornate, and it did not feel homey. It was open which was inviting but there were too many crystal chandeliers. I didn't particularly care for that. It just was not homey in the slightest and it was not inviting. In the short while that we were there, we didn't see any activities going on. They took us into a theater room, and a number of areas where residents collectively gather and have time together in the evening or during special events. However, it was just a feeling that I sensed both times that I went there that it was not inviting. It was too ornate. The courtyard was inviting, but I couldn't get away from the big tall ceilings, ornate country club sensation that I had while I was there. They were small things but they affected me.

Bellarose was very nice. I liked their one-bedrooms. Their studio was too small. Their facilities were very nice. It looked like a resort. The staff was wonderful. I liked that they can go from assisted to memory care. It's huge, and it reminded me of a cruise ship. I'm afraid mom might get lost.

My mom moved into Bellarose, it 's one year old, beautiful, and very well designed. They have friendly people, they do an excellent job, and they're helpful. I've been there a couple of times, the food was good, it looks like a luxury cruise, and it's very plush. They do exercise every day, they've got movies, and they've got many activities to choose from.

I visited Bellarose, it was wonderful, and I cant say anything negative about it. The facility was just beautiful, the resident to staff ratio was very low, the people were really friendly, and caring, and I'm so positive about it. The dining area was like a gourmet restaurant, I liked the way they served the food, they give them options, they will spring out plates prepared with different things on it, and the residents just pick what's good to them. That was nice, and a good idea for people with dementia. The food was just wonderful looking, they had a wonderful swimming pool, a nice beauty salon, and a movie theater.

My wife was at Bellarose for a number of months. It's a gorgeous building, but they're understaffed, which affects not only the attention to the patient in their room when they need help, but it also affects service at mealtimes. The people that were serving were doing their best, but they were just overworked. The dining room even in the assisted living section was quite luxurious, and it had spiral staircase and chandeliers in the independent section. It's outstanding. She play bingos and watches horse race there. They have a lot of activities.

The place is beautiful. The food is good and most of the staff is caring. Activities are less than desired so if you are active you better be ready to do it yourself or just settle on playing cards and happy hour. Seems like they have a lot of people for that but it doesn't make it better.

We chose Bellarose for our parents because it's very close to our house and it's brand new. They just built it and our parents were able to get in on the ground floor into one of the independent living units. They supply meals and that's pretty much the main criteria. They are in an apartment in the main building. Everything's good. They've got a full kitchen, full bath, large closet, large living area, and a good-sized bedroom with a personal patio outside. They have many activities. We've had two meals over there and both of them were great. Everything so far has been a five, from the people to the food and atmosphere. They were actually one of the less expensive facilities.
