I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We placed my mother in law at Brookdale in May of 2020. I truly have no complaint about her existence there. It’s the major details missed that warrant a poor review. She lived there for just over 3 years and died there. After spending well over $100,000 do you know this company didn’t even bother to send a condolence card to the family when she passed? “Thank you for spending your remaining years, etc??? “ Just tacky if you ask me. It’s obvious money is the only thing that drives this organization

My father-in-law moved into Brookdale Broken Arrow. It was very homey. The staff treats everyone like family. The staff, from the kitchen to the nurse and nurse aides, are wonderful. Everybody was just very caring and kind. The room is kind of small, but it has everything my father-in-law needs. They play card games and dominoes. The staff interacts very well with the residents there. My father-in-law hasn't had any complaints about the food, so I'm assuming it's good. He lives for his three squares.

I liked Brookdale Broken Arrow a lot. They would have been my second choice. We went to the memory care area and it was a nice and clean facility. There wasn't any kind of an odor to it or anything like that. It was well taken care of. They had a nice indoor area that was very well-lit where they could sit and listen to the bird noises. It was just very relaxing. The staff was great. I think the only issue that I had with them was the price. It was significantly more expensive.

Brookdale Broken Arrow was clean and well-kept. The staff appeared to be very responsive to the needs of the people. In the instance that we were there, we saw people being taken care of and it looked like they were just loved and cared for. There were two major buildings right there on the same property and the memory care center sets off a little further up from the street. It was a facility that can lock down, if necessary, and also had an enclosed garden where residents could go out and sit and still would be in the confines of the building itself.

My mom is currently at Brookdale Broken Arrow and it's been good so far. We like the staff a lot, and that's what convinced us to move her there. She is in memory care and her room is laid out well. It is large with good bathroom facilities. I also saw some artwork activities and trivia sessions that they do.

We went to Brookdale Broken Arrow yesterday. It was very safe with a square direction of all the rooms for the apartments. It almost felt like a resort with how they had set the table for lunch and how they had an exercise class going on that was being led. There's a lot of participants doing that, which I love to see. They also allow small pets, so it was nice to see that people could bring a pet if they wanted to. We don't need that, but that does bring some joy to your day when you see an animal. So that was cool and it was very clean. I love that. When I walked in, it didn't have a weird smell. I'm big on smells and I don't want something to smell sterile or over clean, because that tells me weird stuff, and I don't want it to smell like an aging smell. The fact that I walked in, it didn't smell like really anything good or bad or weird was awesome. So that impressed me too. The staff was very, very nice. We have to wear masks. It's hard to see everybody's faces full, but everything was clean and they were polite and they were helpful. It looked like the staff was just invested in the residents and I was impressed.

Brookdale Broken Arrow was a very, very nice place. Jacquelyn was very informative, and she was impressive. She knew the residents by name and talked to each one of them as she passed by. She told us everything we needed to know. We left with a very good impression of the place and of Jacquelyn. The layout was also very nice, and the facility looked very clean.

I visited Brookdale Broken Arrow. It wasn’t as fancy, but it was very clean and nice. There was confusion on who I was dealing with, but the people were nice. It was a new facility, but nothing really stood out, and it was just average. The room was a good size, it had everything, but the furniture had to be furnished.

Brookdale Broken Arrow was very nice. They had a Veteran's Day theme when we took a tour. We saw a one-bedroom with a small living area with no window in the living area. The staff was very friendly.

Brookdale Broken Arrow was nice, but they had more care than what my mother-in-law needs right now. It's a lot more institutional. They had a nice outdoor space and nobody was out there, which I thought was unusual for a nice day. They had a communal dining room and TV room. The staff was nice, but the lady who I was supposed to meet wasn't there. I had to wait a little while before she got there. The facility was clean. The dining area was kind of a cafeteria style. The rooms were clean, but they were very small.

I have both my parents in the memory care in Broken Arrow. My father was there for three years until he passed in 2016. My mother still lives there, also in the memory care and has been there three and a half years. Most of the staff has been there since my mother took up residence there. The staff is great, they are kind of like family members to me in a lot of ways after being here for this long. The Excutive Director Karri Willard has made changes since arriving in 2016, all to make things even better for the residents and the family members. I will say this if Karri tells you she will take care of something that you don't like you can bet she will, if at all possible. The facility and rooms are keeper very clean by the staff. The food has gotten better since Karri has taken over less then a year ago, and her and the staff will find something for the resident to eat if they want something a little different. So if your looking for a place for your loved one, go by and let them give you a tour and answer your questions.

Brookdale Broken Arrow was one of the newer facilities. It was bigger. It was clean, and it didn’t have an odor. However, it was more expensive. The apartments were newer, so it was a little nicer. They never have enough staff. The staff who assisted me was very pleasant, and very informative.

We like it there at Brookdale Broken Arrow. They are very kind and very nice. It’s like a big family. It has a very pleasant atmosphere, a beautiful facility. The food is good. I just find it a little slow for the laundry to get the clothes back. Other than that, we are satisfied. They have an activity director every day, and she does a lot of things with them. She takes those who are able out to lunch. They have a gentleman who comes and plays dominos and cards with the ones who would like to. They do exercises every day. They have a couple of churches that come and do services. I just find that after dinner, it takes a long time before bedtime, and they don’t have any activities at night.

Sterling House of Broken Arrow was very nice. I was able to visit the facility, and I really liked it. The staff that assisted me has been very nice and professional. Their rooms were studio rooms with a bathroom, but it was very clean. The whole facility was very clean, and their dining area was really nice. I like the layout of the place.

My grandmother is in Sterling House of Broken Arrow. I can tell you I don’t have a good reference for it. I am looking to take her out and move her. We pay for the extra care she requires, and they do not check on her every two hours. She has a private room. It has a little kitchenette, a bathroom, a living room, and her bedroom. Her room is not clean. She had dirty dishes in her room that have been there since Thanksgiving. That’s the kind of place that turned out to be.

What I like about Sterling House of Broken Arrow was that it was smaller, there were fewer people, and it seemed very clean. It had a very homey atmosphere. I feel that would be the one I would send my mom to if that time comes. I only met one staff, the one that was doing the tour, and she was very nice. She seemed to have very good rapport with the clients there. The building and the grounds were very nice and very well kept. The neighborhood was fine. At that time, the residents were doing some kind of craft with them at a big table.

Everything at Sterling House of Broken Arrow is fine. Cleanliness is above average, and my wife's room is just adequate. The food is very good and their dining room is like restaurant style. The activities are very good; they have world religion trivia, devotionals, card games, parachute, hymns and songs, hand massages, and all this in just one day. It is a fairly new facility, excellent common areas, excellent dining room and eating facilities, lots of activities, and the staff is excellent.

Clare Bridge Place (Sterling House of Broken Arrow) looks good. They have activities. The last visit that I had there, my wife seemed to be stable and pretty well adjusted. I think she is going to be OK there. The rooms are good; they're clean. The staff seems to be stable. In talking with some of the employees, it seems to be stable employment, and I like that.

We checked Sterling House and it was very nice. However, I didn't like it as much as I liked the place I chose for my mom. Though the staff was very good, they didn't seem to be like the ones in the place she's in now. It wasn't quite as big and my mom came from a big city. So, we would not want her to move from a big city to a small community because I knew my mom needed more social interaction.

I went to the Sterling House of Broken Arrow and we really liked the rooms. We liked the way that the place was laid out. It was basically in one level. The rooms that we looked at were just about the right size. The lady that ran the place was absolutely nice.

My father was a resident of Sterling House in BrokenArrow for several months. We were pleased with his care and with the staff's attention to him. If we had a problem we could go to the staff or the administrator and it was taken care of as soon as possible. First time visitors need to take into account that there are times when things are not as tidy, as when the facility was being remodeled or right after there was an activity, but the staff is always quick to clean up. They allow the residents to dress themselves which saves some dignity for the residents so they may look disheveled. The residents are allowed to wander through the facility but the doors are locked and the staff is always close by.

this assisted living should be the worst of all assisted living. the residents were untidy, the entire environment was stinky, and there were trash, plates, spoons, cups, all over the place. they leave the residents wandering without control, and most of all, the staffs have no self control.

I was extremely impressed with the staff that I met with while touring the facility at Sterling House. My family was going through a very hard time while trying to decide where to place my grandmother, who had been slowly losing her fight to cancer. My grandpa refused to not be with her, even during the evenings. The staff at Sterling House was very thoughtful and compassionate towards him and assured him that not only would she be taken care of, but he would also be welcomed to be with her as much as possible. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff seemed very presentable. Everyone that we met was smiling and encouraging to our family in our time of need. I was comforted in seeing the schedule and accountability that the staff were asked to kept, knowing that this is not always the case in these types of facilities. The expenses were relatively expensive, but who can put a price on the good quality care of a loved one who has already been suffering. I would strongly recommend Sterling House to anybody in need of a facility for a loved one, who wants more than just minimal care.
