"Prairie House Assisted Living and Memory Care was very nice. It was located right across my mom's church which was an attraction because she knew some people who were there and they also seemed to have the overall picture and healthcare was important to them. It was an extremely nice atmosphere. They did artwork and I was impressed by that. They had a movie theater. The place was much newer and they had thought of everything. It's a little more modern than I would usually go for."

"I toured the Southern Hills Retirement Community. It was a very clean place. The people were very friendly, and the person who gave the tour was perfect and professional. The food was very good. They had a very nice-sized apartment-type room. They had everything, and on every floor, there was a laundromat. It's easy to get your mail, there's beautiful ground, and it's well-lit."

"My dad has moved into The Grove at Midtown Senior Living. You can get food whenever you want it. It looks like a hotel. Cleanliness is good. They have three or four activities all day long. They do memory quizzes where they'll start to sing and have them finish it. Regarding the staff, they're all smiling and they are ready to help when you ask them a question. I ate there five times, and the food was excellent. I had a hamburger and pulled pork. It's good. It's a little expensive but things are a little expensive nowadays."

"Oxford Springs Tulsa Memory Care is my first choice for my dad. It was very nice. I don't think it's quite as expensive as where he's at now. Josh, who gave me the tour and I think is one of the head guys there, was very friendly. I enjoyed spending time with him and finding out all the different information I needed to know about what would be involved with moving Dad there and how they take care of him and stuff. I was fairly impressed. The rooms seemed pretty nice. They're better than some of the others I've seen. They are more of a multiple-room set-up rather than just one room with a bed and a bathroom. The dining area seemed very nice. As far as I could tell, the building looked like it was well kept up."

"My friend was struggling with ownership, upkeep, grocery shopping and meal preparation, medication ordering and pickup, and the list continues. Once he came to The Parke, ALL of this went away. He particularly appreciates the service and meals by their chef, the courtesy, and friendliness of the staff throughout. He has found the residents to be friendly and caring of one another. The upkeep is constant. I notice the staff is happy, congenial and work together quite well. My friend will be the first to say "I love it here..it's wonderful! "

"The people at The Cottage at Woodland Hills were nice. They just weren't a good fit for us, but they might be for somebody else. They did the best they could with what they got. Everybody was very nice and very helpful. Everything looked very clean and kept up very nicely. When we went there, there was a group in a community room where somebody was playing music and somebody was singing. So, they were doing entertainment and it smelled good. I don't know what they made, but I could smell the food."

"Known Memory Care was very nice. I liked the room that the lady showed us. There was walking space around. It just had a little bit of a hotel lobby feel to it in their living area where the residents could sit. It did not have those homey warm colors, but it was beautiful. The facility looks very clean. I was impressed with the facility itself. It looked very nice and very well-kept. The lady who helped me throughout was very helpful. She called back a couple of times. So, there was a good follow-up. She was very friendly and very informative."

"Mom loved her apartment. It was the perfect size. The meals were very good, so much better than the facility we had been to the year before. When she was in assistant living there were so many activities, it was wonderful! After she moved to memory care she still did some activities but didn't feel like doing as much as before, but they were still offered. "

"My mother is at The Stonehaven, so she's settled. It's very clean and neat. They have quite a few people that help them. They seem to be taking good care of my mother. Like any place else, they have a nice, clean room, they have good meals, and they have activities for those who can participate. The staff are friendly and helpful. They can take care of my mother because I don't think I could have done it in my home."

"The community felt close-knit. It's smaller and their retention was long with their staff. They provide three meals a day and there's a courtyard. Courtney was amazing. She was able to educate us on the whole process. She was fantastic and she came in even on her day off to get us settled and figured out all the things. We appreciate her."

"We've already got mom into Town Village Tulsa. It's fabulous. She has a full kitchen. The staff is awesome. The food is good. They've got lots of stuff. They've got bingo, workouts, and painting. They have an area where you can go out and sit on the patio. They have several patios. They have open dining from 6:00 in the morning until 6:00 at night and then they have a bistro. They have lots of fun things, so it's very nice."

"Nice place! No odors and the staff was very friendly! I observed people engaged in activities and ate lunch there and it was so good! The location is perfect and I plan on using them for skilled nursing services soon. I look forward to the food and the friendly staff! "

"My mom is a resident of Asher Point Independent Living of Tulsa. I would like to live with her, but I can't. I don't think I can afford it. I've been there a couple of times, and I just go and eat lunch with her sometimes. It's good. It's a nice place. They're very good to her. I like it. She's only been there a little over a year or so, and the staff members are very nice. At first, I didn't care for the lady in the office. She was kind of snooty and acted like she didn't want to do anything. They had so many complaints about her that they got rid of her and put somebody else in there. The food is good. They have a lot of chairs that people can sit outside, but they were never kept clean. They were dusty and there were cobwebs on them. When it's nice, it's nice and warm to sit out and sit in their rockers. I love them because they're nice and big rockers. But they're taking better care of them now. So now the facilities are good. Regarding activities, they have somebody coming by and taking them to the store when they need to. It's not the Taj Mahal. It's nice and clean, but they need to do something about the meals. They need to put special or something different on the menu once in a while. If my mom needs anything, I go and take her. Once a month, they have a birthday party for whoever's birthday is in that month. They get to go down and eat cake and ice cream and talk to people. They're going to have a Halloween party down there, but my mom doesn't care for Halloween at all. She says it's a pagan holiday, and she doesn't go down there."
