"We chose Sequoyah Pointe Living Center for my sister because she will be 10 minutes away from my job. The proximity of it is great. It's nice and cozy when you walk in and it smells good. It doesn't reek of urine. The room's got a TV in it, a bed, a couple of wall closets in there, and a window. It looks pretty nice. The person who assisted me was very nice. She seemed pretty positive that I would be able to get my sister in there."

"My parents moved to Baptist Village of Owasso in January, and it's been very beneficial. They're religious-focused, so they have singing and Bible study, and they also have Bingo. They get three meals a day. They have linen and laundry service every two weeks, and cable TV is provided. All their medications are managed by the facility. The staff has been helpful and they get along with everyone. It's a very family-focused atmosphere. The rooms are tidy and nice-sized for what they have. There's a lot of openness to the community."

"My husband moved into the Claremore Veterans Center. They check on him every two hours to see if he needs a diaper change or wound care. They come in and ask him constantly if he would like to get up to eat if he wants them to bring his food in, or if he needs a snack or a drink. Even the maintenance people are friendly with him and talk to him, so that's wonderful to me. They have a minister to come around if they want to see someone like that. They have a social worker who comes around, checks on them, and talks to them. My husband doesn't usually go out and do the group things that they have, but he is invited. They have some kind of activity just about every day. When I was there, they painted or used markers to make Christmas decorations. Their staff were really friendly. The food is great. Everything is really clean. It's better than anything I could find for the same price in Tulsa. It's a nice place. I don't feel bad about my husband's being there at all."

"One of my parents went to Green Country Care Center, which is only for Alzheimer's patients. The nurses are caring, the techs are attentive, and the office staff knows what they are doing. They help me with the Medicaid forms every step of the way, and the facility is very clean and up-to-date. They need more activities, but they know that they need more activities, so they are hiring a new Activity Director. The residents are very happy. I would highly recommend it. "

"Emerald Care Center is nice. My husband is doing well there. He has a private room and he can come in and go out of his room. He's very well taken care of. I haven't found anything I didn't like about it. They have different halls, but they don't have a lot in every hall. They have their own community room with chairs for them to sit on and a television. They can eat in their community room or they can eat in their room. They have a nice area for them to go outside that's fenced-in. When we were there yesterday, they had the door open so people were coming in and out and they had chairs out there for them to sit in. They had an aide with them. They're doing a marvelous job and I'm really happy with them. They do private pay, but they also take Medicaid."

"My mom was at Saint Simeon's Senior Community. It was a very nice facility and a great community. They were very kind, and they treat their patients like family. The facility was great. She was in the memory care, and they did not just have rooms. They had groups of rooms in the home where you go in, there is a common area and a place where they eat, and they had the rooms off of that. They had all kinds of things: they would have bingo, exercise, people coming in to play the piano and sing, and a movie time. They even had a program that I was able to take part in, too. My mom had a very nice room. The location was a little bit out of the way, but for the level of care, it was great place. It was a good value, but we could not afford it."

"My mother-in-law is at Claremore Nursing Home. It's a very clean facility. The food is decent. They have a lot of activities, and they're always interacting with their clients. They have a central nursing desk. Each hallway has direct access to it, and each hallway has humidifiers. So far, we're pretty pleased with the care. As with every long-term care facility we looked at, there's always a lack of employees. It's hard to get enough employees, and that's the only negative I've seen. They're sometimes shorthanded. They have a community room with a TV. Most of the individuals go to the dining room as well."

"My father moved into Rolling Hills Care Center. So far, it's been great. They have good care, it's good, they check on him quite a bit. The staff is very friendly and attentive to him. The food is good. His room is comfortable. He's got dementia and they're working with that. It's well maintained."

"My brother has only been in the Tulsa Nursing Center for a little bit now. The staff is really attentive and take care of him very well. They keep the facility pretty clean every time we visit. We haven't had any trouble with them so far. They're just kind of pricey."

"I really like Leisure Village Health Care Community. My wife likes it, too. The food is excellent. The meals have some meat, veggies, and desserts. There are some rolls or something most of the time. As for the facility itself, the floors are always clean. The rooms are really nice. They have good paint on them and they're very comfortable to be in. Everyone always goes out of their way to help you. No problem. They always have patience and stuff like that. They have a beach ball thing that they play around with. We go out into the courtyard to get fresh air. They even do dominoes and stuff if you're able to. I think value for money is good. They have been helping me as much as they can to try and save money and things like that."

"At Emerald Care Center Tulsa, as far as the care that my sister got and the employees, they were super great. She loved them and they loved her, and it was bittersweet for her to leave there. But their rooms were very, very small. Four people were sharing a bathroom with no shower. She had to take a shower in a public area that she hated. My sister was there for two years. Everything got shut down during COVID. Before that happened, they had bingo, they had people coming in to do music for them, they would take them outside in the fresh air. During the time that they have shut down for Covid, every so often they'd have us decorate our cars and come driving through there with the people sitting outside so they can see the parade, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The care that she got was super, but the facility leaves something to be desired. The room was so small, and she had to share the bathroom with four people. Her roommate couldn't control her bladder well, and so she always left a mess in there. We would call them, and they would come to clean it up, but it was just a hassle to her. They did have very good meals."

"I visited the new Cottage at Woodland Hills, the old building on 21st is no longer- they have moved to a beautifully remodeled building that is in south Tulsa at 77th and Memorial and the building is great! I was surprised by the size of the therapy gym- it has a full kitchen and bathroom! The staff was super friendly too and they just opened a skilled nursing unit and it is really nice! I highly recommend them!"

"My Grandmother was a resident of this facility for a little over a year. My Grandmother had Alzhiemer's disease and was very combative at times. This nursing home was very caring, down to the last minute. The staff became like extended family over time, I have never seen a facility that cared so lovingly for their patients. Abuse was a big concern we had when we made the decision to put my grandma in a facility, this facility put our minds to ease due to the quality of the staff. Each staff member takes the time to form a bond with the residents and cares for each resident as if they where family. My Family was very happy with the entire experience. The extra loving care provided at the end was amazing! I knew they had cared very deeply for my Grandma at the end as the staff sat in her room with us crying as she took her last breathe. The respect they gave us as we gathered my grandma's belongings was amazing, they did not rush us or crowd us at any point in time. I would highly recommend this nursing home for anyone's loved ones. "
