They went out of their way to try to get her involved in things and to care for her needs. She has her own housekeeper that comes in, changes her bed, and does her laundry for her. "

"My brother has been at Maplewood for approximately 4 years now. I could not have asked for a better facility and more caring workers. With all that has gone on with the Covidvirus knowing that we could not see the residents Maplewood was nice enough and caring enough to set up a day we could visit our loved one's by seeing them at their window. Just to see the them made a world of difference to us. With all the nursing homes having so many deaths because of the virus Maplewood has done a wonderful job taking care of all their residents. "At Emerald Care Center Tulsa, as far as the care that my sister got and the employees, they were super great. She loved them and they loved her, and it was bittersweet for her to leave there. But their rooms were very, very small. Four people were sharing a bathroom with no shower. She had to take a shower in a public area that she hated. My sister was there for two years. Everything got shut down during COVID. Before that happened, they had bingo, they had people coming in to do music for them, they would take them outside in the fresh air. During the time that they have shut down for Covid, every so often they'd have us decorate our cars and come driving through there with the people sitting outside so they can see the parade, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The care that she got was super, but the facility leaves something to be desired. The room was so small, and she had to share the bathroom with four people. Her roommate couldn't control her bladder well, and so she always left a mess in there. We would call them, and they would come to clean it up, but it was just a hassle to her. They did have very good meals."

"My 95 year old mother was at Wildwood for two weeks for skilled nursing to rehab after a fall in which she cracked her pelvis. I was extremely pleased with the care and friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. I was there every day as was my brother at different times during the day and we did not ever encounter any problems or things that would be upsetting. We were kept well informed and and our wishes were respected. We did not eat there, but the food looked good and the menus seemed well balanced. I would recommend this place. "

"Living here has been the best experience. The staff and residents are like family. There is a wide variety of ages here so the activities are engaging, interesting, and fun. Therapy works well with there residents. They are kind and take notice of the level of care that there residents are needing. Do not hesitate to put your loved one here. This is a safe and enjoyable environment to live in!"

"I visited Montereau, and I liked it. But money is the problem with this place because it is very expensive. Everything would have to be a 5, but affording it is the next issue. The dining area was nice. They had a chef cooking every meal and doing the whole thing, and you don’t have to be there at certain times to eat any meal; it’s more like your leisure time. It is probably a couple of miles from the mall in each direction, and it’s very close to St. Francis Hospital. They had more paying activities, which depended on what you are able to do. It seemed like the people there may have been more active and more able to go on trips and cruises and that type of thing. They didn’t have as many activities on site as some of the others, but they had like walking trails. "

"I also visited the Villages of Southern Hills. I considered looking at it because of its proximity to my home, and I heard good things about it. They had two different sizes of rooms. Had I put my mother there, I would have been interested in the larger room because it had a little bit more of a big home feel. The staff took me through the facility, and they were very helpful. The development director was very friendly and very thorough in describing the different levels of care they offered. I saw residents in the lobby area who were listening to an outside speaker, who seemed very good. They had exercise rooms for physical therapy. They had craft rooms. It was a larger facility and probably had more amenities than some of the others. They had private rooms where you could have family gatherings and bring in food from the outside. It was a very impressive facility, and it offered assisted living as well as nursing care. "

"My very first impression about The Cottages was not good; it was not as nice as some others that I have seen as far as cosmetically, but the staff is really good. They have helped my 93-year-old dad who was in there a little under two months. We took him in, and when he came out, he walked out. They really gave him good therapy and good food. They called and checked on him at home. Also, my sister is in there now, and they give her a really good treatment because they like my dad so much. It is an older type of facility, but they are working on the building. A previous friend of ours had been there, and it is close to my house so I was also able to visit often. "

"My Mother was at the Colonial Manor Assisted Living and Nursing Home for about 7 years and I never had ONE complaint. Their staff treated Mom like family, I would recommend Colonial Manor to anyone and have. The owner, Mr. Rucker is a wonderful man and a very good Christian. His main goal in life is to care for his residence folks. I will give Colonial Manor five stars in each and every category!!!! The ladies in the front office can't be beat. We hear stories about Assisted Living and Nursing homes but the stories you will hear about Colonial Manor will all be very positive. The staff just can't be beat please consider Colonial Manor for your loved ones. "

"My brother has only been in the Tulsa Nursing Center for a little bit now. The staff is really attentive and take care of him very well. They keep the facility pretty clean every time we visit. We haven't had any trouble with them so far. They're just kind of pricey."

"We toured Zarrow Pointe. They had a little fee upfront, but it was manageable. They had a health center there, right there on the facility. They also had apartments and small homes that we did not look at. The apartments were too small for me. I think the largest one was eleven hundred square feet, which is nice, but I just had too much I don't wanna get rid of. Right, connected to them was a swimming pool or recreation type thing, and the fee wasn't very much. When you look at it, you think it belongs to them because it's right, almost connected to them, and that was a nice thing. They were one of those places that wanted to give you a monthly food allowance. I think everyone could improve on that. I mean, I don't want an allowance, I want you to prepare me three meals a day, and cookies for the afternoon. We didn't have much interaction with the staff folks really and truly well, there didn't seem to be that much interaction that day, and I think the problem was that they were all full up. You had to get on a waiting list for about three years."

"This facility is very clean and very pretty inside and out. My best friend's dad is in this facility and she lives out of town, so I visit him often. He is also blind, and they are very good about including him in all their activities, despite his inability to see what he is really doing. They take him to Dr. Visits as well. This has been very helpful for my friend, she lives 2 hrs away. He also recently lost his wife of 60 yrs, which used to take care of him. She had a stroke and was completely dependent on 24 hr care herself.she passed away abyear ago, which made it almost impossible for him to survive and take care of himself. I am very thankful for this facility. "

"The OT staff at Kaiser Rehabilitation Center is working with my husband to get him to hold the eating utensil and then do the movement back and forth from the plate to his mouth. He has been able to do that pretty well now. He is improving in a lot of different areas and fairly quickly. He is up in the wheelchair in the morning by about 8 o’clock and somewhere between 6 and 6:30, he has breakfast. He likes the fact that there’s a real schedule here with things to do everyday. I think that’s very helpful for him because he’s a much regimented person. He is regaining some strength and some mobility that he had not had in the beginning. So I think it’s going very well. "
