"Mom loved her apartment. It was the perfect size. The meals were very good, so much better than the facility we had been to the year before. When she was in assistant living there were so many activities, it was wonderful! After she moved to memory care she still did some activities but didn't feel like doing as much as before, but they were still offered. "

"The community felt close-knit. It's smaller and their retention was long with their staff. They provide three meals a day and there's a courtyard. Courtney was amazing. She was able to educate us on the whole process. She was fantastic and she came in even on her day off to get us settled and figured out all the things. We appreciate her."

"My friend was struggling with ownership, upkeep, grocery shopping and meal preparation, medication ordering and pickup, and the list continues. Once he came to The Parke, ALL of this went away. He particularly appreciates the service and meals by their chef, the courtesy, and friendliness of the staff throughout. He has found the residents to be friendly and caring of one another. The upkeep is constant. I notice the staff is happy, congenial and work together quite well. My friend will be the first to say "I love it here..it's wonderful! "

"My dear mom was at Brookdale Assisted Living for a little over four years. She had been in two other places before my sister and I found Brookdale. When we toured Brookdale we realized this was the place for our mom. The environment is warm and welcoming and feels more like “home.” The staff are kind, gentle and caring. My sweet mom felt safe and secure. She had a lovely view of the courtyard and sunshine. Brookdale gave my sister and me peace of mind knowing our mother was happy during this last chapter of her life."

"from the tour with Samantha and visiting the facility, to the staff. everyone has been super sweet. the rooms in memory care are very spacious and open. its just a very calm place. the food here is actually amazing and u can actually tell what each item is. we are very pleased with everyone, the place is very clean and it actually smells good"

"My dad has moved into The Grove at Midtown Senior Living. You can get food whenever you want it. It looks like a hotel. Cleanliness is good. They have three or four activities all day long. They do memory quizzes where they'll start to sing and have them finish it. Regarding the staff, they're all smiling and they are ready to help when you ask them a question. I ate there five times, and the food was excellent. I had a hamburger and pulled pork. It's good. It's a little expensive but things are a little expensive nowadays."

"The staff and nursing staff are wonderful and so caring. Anytime we have questions or need anything for they take care of their needs. Wonderful facility, clean, well taken care of, and welcoming."

"University Village Retirement Community is the one I like the most. The residents and the people who work there are very nice. A fridge, a microwave, and a dishwasher are included in the apartment. You can bring whatever you have there. It's a kitchenette basically, and it's one of the smallest apartments. It's like 400 square feet or something like that. The price is okay because it includes heating and cooling, and basic cable TV. Meals are also included. They also have a little place where you can get a hamburger. It's open a little bit later than where you get your meal. They offer three meals a day. They're very courteous and didn't treat you like an old person. I'm 65, and some of the people there were elderly, but they treated them with the utmost respect. That's what I look for. I don't want to be treated like an old person. They have cottages. It all depends on what you want, but I'm not picky. They have independent living and assisted living in the same building. I get around pretty well, so I don't need assisted living."

"My mom has moved into Legend of Tulsa Hills. It's nice. It's very well-kept. It's clean. The staff members are very helpful, very nice, polite and capable. My mom doesn't go outside her room, so they bring her food to her. She's a very picky person, so hers is not the best review in terms of the food. They have a beauty shop, and you can have stuff done in that. But my mother doesn't leave her room, so that doesn't apply to her."

"My mother-in-law is at Claremore Nursing Home. It's a very clean facility. The food is decent. They have a lot of activities, and they're always interacting with their clients. They have a central nursing desk. Each hallway has direct access to it, and each hallway has humidifiers. So far, we're pretty pleased with the care. As with every long-term care facility we looked at, there's always a lack of employees. It's hard to get enough employees, and that's the only negative I've seen. They're sometimes shorthanded. They have a community room with a TV. Most of the individuals go to the dining room as well."

"I toured The Courtyards at Claremore. It's assisted living. They do have some elevation in care. If that person has been there for a length of time and then they deteriorate, they still will keep them there. There may be some people who come in to visit them to care for them, depending on what they need. It's a good facility. The Courtyards at Claremore is closer to me. It's on the same side of town that I live on. So that was my first choice, but they did not have a room plus they did not have the amount of elevated care that mother would need. The staff was always friendly when I went in. They tried to help me and tried to help me get my mother in. So, I think they have a good staff. The facility was attractive. It's kept clean. They have a nice courtyard. Some of the people can raise their flowers and stuff if their room is in the courtyard. I've only seen one room and it was attractive. It had a nice bathroom. They had kitchen cabinets and a sink right in the entrance where you could fix your food and stuff if you wanted to. They have a nice dining area."

"Homestead of Owasso is a wonderful well kept facility. Everyone from administration to staff are very friendly, warm & welcoming. My mom's care there has been excellent. They go above and beyond to help each resident and treat them like family. My mom absolutely loved living there. I highly recommend Homestead of Owasso."

"I will start by saying if I could give 10 stars I would. After caring for my husband for 9 years, full time for the last 3 1/2 years, I decided he was declining to a point that I needed more help in caring for him. After struggling with the thought of putting him in a facility I had tried to get him in Baptist Village but due to some financial reasons it wasn’t possible in beginning so I chose another facility. It was not a good experience for us as he needed full care including feeding and his needs were not met. After various different things happened in that facility, I knew I couldn’t leave him there. He was now Medicaid approved and we could now go to Baptist Village. He was accepted and we transferred him after about 5 weeks at the other facility. Oh my! The difference in care was remarkable. Each staff person introduced themselves and they came in every couple of hours to check on him. All staff members seemed to take it to a personal level. I think each one cared for him as if it was their family member. They got him up daily to eat meals in dining room. He wasn’t himself and I thought it was due to the move and kept waiting for him to improve but he didn’t. The staff, as well as hospice, was trying to prepare me but I had seen him get down many times and recover so I kept telling them they just didn’t know him. They allowed me and his mom to stay with him due to his condition and aides came in every 2 hours, 24 hours a day. He was there two weeks and continued to decline although staff and I were trying our best to get his strength up. He had quit eating and didn’t want drink. I insisted on giving him iv fluids although nurses were trying to tell me it was end time. I thought they just didn’t know him. But they knew. They had experience with it. I started comfort care as he had already stopped responding to us and he was gone in 4 days. They allowed us all the company we wanted and nurse was in there every couple of hours to make sure he was comfortable. We could not have asked for better support. All staff were there for our family and for him. I’m so glad we had Evergreen at Baptist Village staff there for us during that time. We would not have made it through this without them. I thought the facility itself was beautiful but staff is above and beyond. Thank you to all staff on East wing for your support. I know in my soul that God sent us there."

"My father is in North County for a couple of months now. They have different types of rooms, there’s studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. The staff is excellent, accommodating, very friendly, and very helpful. He has no complaints with the food. They have a lot of exercise classes. They take them out in a van to Walmart, stores, they do movie nights, karaoke, and played music. "
