Avoid this facility. They don’t care for the rehab patients very well. Despite having orders in computer and on the wall for care (such as having to have assistance to move from bed, a particular diet, no straws due to a swallowing difficulty, etc) they are ignored. They left patient alone on toilet and was out by nurses stand getting ice. Every day was a new what’s going to be wrong today episode. At least when we were there we knew he would get water. There’s so much that I could say that went bad but you get the idea. Please just avoid this facility unless you plan on being there first thing in the morning until bedtime and you are assisting the patient. Yes, we informed the staff including the A DON, yet things didn’t really change. The therapists seemed to be fine and the stylist in the salon was nice and helpful. Oh, food was terrible according to patient and the serving sizes looked like a toddler’s portion. Much of the time meals were served on foam throwaway plates. Not sure why. But I have seen regular plates on the last few visits.

My mom is staying in Bradford Village Healthcare Center for rehab. She got a physical therapist, speech therapist, and all the therapies she needs. I don't think I have a comment about their facility yet. I haven't been thrilled with it, but I think the administrator is trying to address my concerns. I think they need to improve the communication between their weekend staff and their Monday through Friday staff. There doesn't seem to be any communication.

My friend was at Bradford Village Healthcare Center. People were friendly but the facility was old and outdated, and the air conditioning was bad. The skilled nursing side was horrible. They didn't have enough staff, but the people were nice. I wouldn't complain about them over anything, but they're just working with what they have. She liked going there because of the nice people and that's where she wanted to go when she went for rehabilitation for the second time. I didn't like the food too much too. I have seen their activity room but I am not sure what their activities were. I think people were just laying in their chairs. If they're going to charge $3000 a month, they should invest it in their building. When I had her on the nursing home side, it was pretty nice and it gave us false security about putting our loved one in the skilled nursing because it's a different environment there. The stench in there was horrible, but I understand elderly people have accidents, as we all know that.
