"My mother was at Skyview Nursing Center. It was not a fancy facility, but she got great care. One of the key elements to my selection there was the lady who lives across the street from me runs that place. So I felt confident that if there was any kind of issues I would get word back. It was clean, but it was an older facility. I thought that they gave her excellent care."

"When you open the door at Grace Living Center, to your left is the dining area. I personally think that the entrance should be away from the residents where they are eating; that’s one thing I don’t like in nursing homes. All of the staff members that I dealt with were pretty nice. The food looks good to me. The rooms in this facility are not clean; the rugs were not sanitary. They should improve on their cleanliness. "

"The Parc Place in Edmond OklahomaThe place was nice , rooms and bath nice. Food was good not great. Some of the staff were great and some were awful and not courteous. My wife was there for rehabilitation after hip replacement. Physical therapy was great. But her personal care by the nursing staff was awful. I had to stay there 24/7 to see she got to the bathroom when she needed. And had to start using a bedside commode and the staff would not empty it or collect the poop afterwards. I had to pile the poop and urine bags by the front door and sometimes they would collect them at night. Sometimes two days and it started to smell. The higher nursing staff were the worst as they were above helping a patient that had to go to the bathroom. I thought this place would be special for my wife’s recovery. Wrong! Call light took a lot of time for a staff member to come and the disappear and not return."

"My sister died in here and she was only 57. They say she died of a heart attack. This is three weeks after they dropped her and she broke her leg in 2 places. Very, very poor care. Don't put anyone you love in here! I would give them 0 stars, if I could. "

"I visited this facility about a month ago. The staff is super friendly with visitors but also with the people living in the facility. I saw staff interacting with its clients, they were talking with them like they were their own relatives. It was very sweet. Also, the facility is very clean and well maintained. The area is a little bit of a lower income area, but you wouldn't be able to tell by the condition of the building. "

"My mother has been a resident of Meeker Nursing Center since the middle of May 2022. She was getting hospice care in my home at the time and it became impossible for me to care for her as she needed. Hospice recommended Meeker as the cleanest nursing home near to us. They recently gained a new administrator and he's really caring and involved. We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner last month and there is a Christmas party planned this month for residents and family members. There is always going to be staff shortages since so many people just don't want to work! This is the current cultural climate in our country, but my observation is that Meeker staff do care about the residents. I do recommend this nursing home for your loved one, but please visit as much as you can. I do. Also, the food has improved a lot since my Mom moved there. Their nutritionist is training the current kitchen staff new ways of preparing meals and my mother has let them know how much she likes the improvement."

"I moved my Dad into Shawnee Care Center a little over two years ago. His room is always clean. The staff is caring and patient. For the most part, I feel he is well taken care of which is so important and a relief. The Center is good to call me if anything happens or changes. The building is older but has been well maintained. There is longevity with several staff members."

"My wife stayed in The Timbers Skilled Nursing & Therapy for rehab. The staff was excellent. She had good care there, but it's an older facility. The food left a little bit to be desired. It was OK, but most of it was frozen food that they microwaved or warmed up. It's better than my food. It's a good place, but the rooms are very small, with a roommate. You hardly had room to turn around. We would want to look into the possibility of a private room. They had a workout room with a stationary bike, a treadmill, and some weights."

"My mother was in Shawnee Colonial Estates last year. She was not unhappy there by any means, but the food was horrible and the cleanliness was bad. The facility was really old. It had the Jack and Jill bathroom, and she couldn't take herself to the bathroom because of the way it was built. That one wasn't a good one for her. I went to the dining room with her and they had some sort of a sewage problem going on there. It smelled like they had sewage everywhere. It was horrible."

"My mother moved into Edmond Health and Rehab two weeks ago. The cleanliness is good. The staff is accommodating and friendly, and I do not have an impression that they are understaffed. She is in a shared room, and the space is fine. She likes the food. "

"My Grandfather was diagnosed with dementia at age 73. He would often forget where he was and who he was. He sometimes became angry and unruly. The staff at golden Rule was very patient and accommodated his needs with care. They were always available when I had questions and took the time to put my mind at ease knowing they were well trained and cared about my grandfather's feelings as well as his health. The facilities were clean and I did appreciate the events they had available to my grandfather. I loved seeing him during the holidays and the Facility was warm and inviting. They even paired my grandfather with another elderly woman and they became fast friends. They truly understood the meaning of quality of care. I would recommend this Nursing home to anyone who wants their loved one to be taken care of in a professional and gentle manner. "

"We were very pleased with the care our loved one received. We visited at different times almost everyday. Of course this is a dementia care facility with state/federal guidelines for the safety and comfort of all the patients. Our loved one was well cared for and "loved on" for 2 years. The staff was caring and efficient. They met our expectations and made accommodations for our requests and needs. The room was always clean and so was our loved one. A memory care facility is not like home but we were grateful for the care they offered."
