This place is awful. My mom was there for 4 months. They have ignored her and not taken care of her at all. She is completely bed ridden and they didn’t clean her often enough or even put rails up so she could turn herself. The place alone is nasty. Not one time did I go up there and leave happy knowing she is in good care. This nursing home needs to be shut down. The only staff member that was good to her was Dee. All they care about is the money and that isn’t being spent on repairs or house keeping.

My mother was in Shawnee Colonial Estates last year. She was not unhappy there by any means, but the food was horrible and the cleanliness was bad. The facility was really old. It had the Jack and Jill bathroom, and she couldn't take herself to the bathroom because of the way it was built. That one wasn't a good one for her. I went to the dining room with her and they had some sort of a sewage problem going on there. It smelled like they had sewage everywhere. It was horrible.
