"My brother moved into Wilson Care And Rehabilitation. They seem like they are very professional. They have a lot of CNAs and nurses around. My brother just fit in well. The staff members are around him all the time, help him, and watch him close. My brother likes home cooking, and they have a lot of home cooking. They keep them busy all the time. The school kids come through there and sing for them. They have a lot of activities there."

"When my husband was in the hospital, for some reason, he stopped walking. So he was sent to Life Care Center for rehabilitation. The people there are all great. The food is okay, he liked it. Their activities include bingo, movies, and they have people come into the facility to play the piano and guitar. They're all very caring people. "

"Rooms are small. Very often understaffed. No teamwork among staff, which results often in residents being overlooked or neglected. Very high staff turnover. Some staff have very poor attitudes. Management more interested in lining pockets by filling beds than providing quality care. Food terrible. Menu limited and quality poor. Residents offered no outings other than doctor appointments. "

"We placed mom at Sandpiper Bay Health Care Center. It's a good place. The staff members really do a good job. She is in a shared room. It is average in size, like a hospital room, but it's clean. The food is pretty good. If they don't like what they're having, they have other options."

"I have three adult Wards residing at this facility. It may not be the best facility in the city, but there is always plenty of staff, they take the patients out on excursions all the time, whenever I call they are very helpful, very organized and seem to know the needs of each patient. In my experience, it has appeared to be clean and orderly, my Wards are happy there. I have been there several times and each time, I am greeted by staff members who appear to enjoy their jobs. They are a Medicaid-accepting facility, which is good because many folks just don't have the money to afford a more upscale facility. I have one Ward there for whom they have bent over backwards to assist in his rehabilitation (alcoholism). The staff goes above and beyond what they need to do. They have an outdoor area which is well-supervised and a security system so that those who shouldn't go out, don't. They take in a varied clientele - mostly mental health issue patients. Again, my Wards have made friends and don't call and ask to be moved to another facility. They are happy there and that's all that counts. "

"Ascension Via Christi Rehabilitation Hospital was extremely clean, probably the cleanest place I've ever been. They changed the beds every day. I didn't have one nurse that wasn't friendly. Every one of them were good and friendly, and I barely pressed the button. They were there and were very good about helping me with anything I needed. The rehab place was crazy amazing. It's huge and it's got this OT room that's like a city, and people can practice going to Walmart and to a restaurant, and it looks just like the real places. They have food on the shelves like Walmart would set it up. It's so cool. They had a car that you could practice getting in and out of. They had all kinds of computer stuff you could work on in there. There's so much different stuff in their main room that I had never seen before that I worked on. They kept moving, and they only have 40 beds there, but they were busy. They also had outpatient rehab. Every one of the therapists helped me. They helped me with everything. They were so good. Different doctors came in every single day. The rooms were bigger than the other places, and very nice. I get out of the bed and they would have it changed. They were so good at that, and making sure I had showers, and helped me with that. The food was way better. It had more fruits and vegetables that you could pick from every day. It just seemed like it was a way better menu. I want to tell people to go over there and check their menu out. They had fresh fruit they could get every day. They had like five or six different vegetables you could get, different potatoes, things like that."

"My father was a recent patient at ManorCare. The staff was wonderful, and very caring. The facility was clean, and welcoming. The administrative staff went out of their way to make sure my family was comfortable while visiting. The food was good as well, and there was always activities going on. I would highly recommend ManorCare to anyone looking for either rehab as a short stay, or for long term care. It is close to shopping and restaurants, and easy access to the highway. "

"Larksfield Place is an excellent place to go from when the time comes. The staff is excellent, the food is great, and the residents are friendly and cheerful. There goal is to make Larksfield as little like a Nursing Home, as possible. You can have a personal trainer whenever you want, go for a swim, or enjoy some social time with many scheduled events. You will never get bored, there is always something to do, and people to see. The apartments are clean and well taken care of, as well as the Villas. All very much worth it. However, the only downside of Larksfield, it is very expensive. In my opinion, if you have the savings go for it. If you are on a fixed income, It would hurt to check them out anyway. Go online to there informative website, call, or come in. The receptionists are very lovely, and i'm sure there are less expensive options other than the ones that I have personally experienced. Our family friend, Bert, loves his Villa. He and his dog Ernie have everything they need there. It's just a home, with a nice yard, and nice neighbors. The only difference is, there is a hospital, cafeteria, exercise room just a walk away! "

"Via Christi Village is very clean and spacious for their living facilities. They have different sizes of rooms available. They accept quite a few insurance options. They have a church in the facility, they give you rides to different places, they have an afternoon happy hour, a little bistro downstairs for snacks and drinks, a dining room, and a room for games and events. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. It's an awesome place and it's on a lake."

"My mom is in Ascension Living Via Christi Village Ridge. I like the personability and helpfulness of the nursing staff. They had a long history with the staff, which meant a lot. The rooms were very good and excellent. My mom has a two-bedroom apartment, which is very nice. It's been completely redone with new carpeting, flooring, and paint. They have nice showers and bathroom fixtures. It's a nice facility, and my mom likes it. The outside atmosphere is very attractive, which is another helpful point. The meals are excellent. They have open dining with tables. My mom has access to a hairdresser, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy at the facility. They have an X-ray facility. The primary physician that my mom chose is very close to the facility. They have game nights, some craft activities, and weekly outings where they just went to a movie yesterday. They go to different stores once a week. They have mass twice a week."

"My mother was in Regent Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare for rehab, after leaving the hospital. It's top of the line, but it's expensive. The staff was very good. It's a very nice, and well laid-out facility. It's spotless, it's one of the cleanest places I've seen. She seemed to like the food. It was a very nice room. It was a large room, she had a private room. It's got a nice TV in there, the whole bed. It was real. They've got some therapy-type exercise equipment that people can use to kind of help build back muscles and stuff like that. They cater to the upper echelon. So it is fairly expensive."
