We went to Via Christi Village Ridge. We had a nurse who took us around so we could discuss more of the physical disabilities we have. It was pleasant and very nice. They did not have mass as often, they had it two times a week. The Catholic Church was just across the street, so it was very close. They had a lot of activities, more movie activities, and a lot of amenities. The staff was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and we felt very comfortable with her.

Via Christi Village Ridge was fairly new and well maintained. They had lots of programs for the people to participate in. They have medical staff there, and they have medical staff that comes in from time to time on a regular basis. They have beautiful grounds for walking and that sort of thing. It's attached to a nursing home also, so there's no moving involved if you have to go into the nursing environment. They also have a chapel there. It's a very nice facility. We were impressed by the staff. Everybody was very polite and personable. We were impressed.

The room was atypical. Nothing to grip getting into or out of bed, Bathroom has 2 dog eared corners. The one with toilet has grab railings that pull down from wall behind toilet Paranoid Physical therapy follows with wheelchair. Medications mostly within 15 minutes of schedule. At some point during 20 days, ALL staff were caught lying except CNA's. Billing staff incompetent.

Via Christi Village is very clean and spacious for their living facilities. They have different sizes of rooms available. They accept quite a few insurance options. They have a church in the facility, they give you rides to different places, they have an afternoon happy hour, a little bistro downstairs for snacks and drinks, a dining room, and a room for games and events. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. It's an awesome place and it's on a lake.

Via Christi Village has rehabilitation, a nursing home, and assisted living, but they do not accept anybody that is Medicaid pending. It was great, very clean, and very well kept. The staff was great, and they were doing exercise programs when we were walking through. The residents were busy. They have a kitchen. All their cooking is fresh and they have chefs in the kitchen.
